Awful service, food. Only thing decent was the Shepard's pie. Everything else was far too hot (spicy).

I like this place for the daily happy hour with food and drink specials, for having a good crowd on hand for Timbers games and for lively late night. In a town where every beer seems to be a quadruple-hopped triple IPA, having a few options like Guinness and Smithwicks is a nice change. No fear though -- they have... More

I was on my way to meet friends when I came across Paddy's. The bar layout is set up with a large wall, library style complete with ladder, of libations. Definitely a place for a good Irish whiskey or scotch, plus had a few rums to my liking. I came back again the next night for a Smithwick's and Irish... More

This is a great pub with plenty of atmosphere, and it wasn't particularly busy for a weekday lunch. My wife and I went there for lunch and watched rugby on the telly. Service was good and the food was plentiful, but not exceptional. Prices were a little higher than I had hoped ($27 for Sheperd's Pie, Chicken Curry and an... More

Ever since our honeymoon to Ireland my hubby is very critical of how his Guinness is poured. They actually do it right which makes this a frequent stop for him.

Arriving in downtown Portland on a Sunday evening and looking for food . . . we came upon Paddy's, offering outdoor seating on a beautiful evening. We found out within minutes that there was only one person working the entire restaurant . . . bar, inside tables, and patio. Nevertheless, we stuck with it, went inside to order and held... More

Enjoyable food.We had the fish and chips. The decor was a bit "wanna be" Irish with the waitress wearing a kilt?

Food is terrible, my guess is this restaurant only survives on tourists looking for to grab a beer, or sit on the patio as the location is downtown right in front of the river.

Very friendly staff in this traditional Irish Pub. Several TVs broadcast sports events. Try the Irish mule--delicious! Appetizers are good, however very small and a bit overpriced.

Came in for beers on a Friday night 10.30pm we ordered 4 Trumer Pils. Good Service and friendly Portland people as usual. It was a steady night with about 50 inside and 16 outside. Very warm May evening.
