You will enjoy this Irish Pub. Beer is local, food is very good and it is owned by real Irish folks that have another location near the market in Seattle. Easy walk from the Embassy Suites on Pine street.

My mom and I had to go to the Kells Irish Pub, My first time and it was so good. My mom had the corn beef and cabbage and she said it was a must. I had the shepherds pie which was to die for!!! I craved it all night and day!

Came into this place out of the rain - nice atmoshere, and good food. Also, they have a ceiling filled with money people donate and on St. Patrick's Day they take the money down and match it and give it to charity. You need to go by, check it out and donate a little to charity.

We have always checked out Irish pubs in the US ever since we visited Ireland. This one seems very authentic, and the shepherd's pie was probably the best I've ever had. We ate in the quieter restaurant part, but the more traditional part seemed to be a lot of fun.

We always stop in at Kells while visiting Portland. Love all there beers especially the stouts. Loved their meatballs but they're no longer on the menu. We had the nachos. They're ok. We had a new server. He was friendly but still catching on. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our dinner at Kells. Daughter had the Reuben and we split the chicken curry, served with fries which was a surprise. It was reasonably priced and a fun place for dinner. Atmosphere is also very nice.

After spending the day in the city we decided to stop in at the Kells for a bite. The Irish nachos and the bangers and mash were great. The service was wonderful until it came time to get out check. It took about 15-20 minutes before we finally called someone over to get it. Otherwise, it was a lovely place... More

My experience with Irish pub fare is heavy, salty, tasteless meals with good beer. Not so with Kells. This place had a great beer and cocktail selection but the food was great. I was surprised to see risotto on the menu! Out of all the food my friends ordered, the shepherds pie was outstanding. Great place!

This place has a great feel and the food was excellent. I was very impressed with the shepards pie and the beer selection.

My boyfriend and I ate here the other day the food was fantastic. Really hit the spot. However I feel we were profiled by our waitress who seemed to think we weren't tippers (because we ordered water for a drink and not beer) and therefore not worth serving like the rest of the tables. An older woman with blonde hair... More
