When I asked a new coworker where to eat when in Portland, she didn't even hesitate or refer anywhere else. Traveling to the Oregon Coast from Seattle, this was the perfect lunch spot. We all had the suggested Reuben and seriously contemplated stopping on the return drive back. I will be back again for sure and they will too when... More

Stopping here for lunch or dinner makes me feel like a local. Generous pours of house wines, well made cocktails and tasty, well prepared menu items. Try the pizza, salads, sandwiches. The veggie burger is better than most. The potato salad is deliciously home-made. Carrot sticks with every plate. We like to go on purpose or spontaneously stop when we... More

This place was fun, and a good dining experience. The ruben we all ordered was different (ingredients) but it was very good and a good sized sandwich. We would go back w/o any hesitation.

Goose Hollow has been around for a long time. The decor is a little tired but overall the pub is clean. There is a big patio that can be partially be used even when it rains. Well trafficked by regulars but they always make room for new comers. The food is decent. Locally, they are famous for their Reuben sandwiches.... More

Nice deck to eat outside on a nice day. Food was good and decent portions. Reasonable prices. Very casual setting. Would go back again if in the area.

We hopped off the train and ate lunch here one day while our son was napping in his stroller. We ate outside on the deck. I ordered just a small salad and grilled cheese sandwich to share with my son. They were both average, nothing special. The grilled cheese was kind of greasy. The beer was cheap though!

The outdoor patio is great for dogs. We snagged the big table way in the back and my little pup slept the entire time on the spacious bench. The wait staff was very pleasant and efficient. The food was awesome. Three in our party ordered the reuben and it was "the best on the planet" as they advertise. We happened... More

The best neighborhood bar ever! I always order the same...Guinness, a Reuben with potato salad, and carrot sticks. If you want a great slice of Portland...come here and visit with college students, philosophers, and old poets. If you're lucky you may even see the mayor who made Portland famous for exposing himself...Bud Clarke, the owner!

The Goose Hollow Inn offered outdoor seating in a relaxed atmosphere. The marianberry cocktail was out of this world!

This is a favorite neighborhood spot in the summer, and the patio fills up quickly. The food and beer is nothing special, but it's cheap and casual.
