Three Doors Down is about 10 minutes from Downtown Portland if you take the Hawthorne Bridge across the river and go to 37th street. The restaurant is three doors off Hawthorne on 37th street. It is worth the trip. All the food is locally sourced and you could tell. Everything tasted fresh. I mean really fresh. The kind of fresh... More

We have been eating at this restaurant for a very long time, during which it expanded in size while continuing to present a well-planned menu, servers who have had long tenure, quite delicious food, an owner and manager who make you feel at home. It is a place where we celebrate family events and go without much planning. It is... More

Excellent Italian food; very good warm bread with white bean dip; good wine list; I had the mushroom rissoto; many good pasta dishes; they do have gluten free also; Friday night was noisy as it is a local favorite

Everything was fresh. The presentation nice. I had their halibu entree. My more than adequate sized portion was savory and moist. My dinner companions each ordered different entrees and were happy with their various pasta choices.

Cozy place with excellent food, wine and service. Make sure you allow extra time to park as most of the street parking is full.

Hands down one of the best in the city of eating. They have it all .... great food, attentive service, creative cocktails, lengthy well priced wine list. Just do it.

Upon entering this restaurant we were immediately immersed in the sounds of a live jazz band complete with trumpet. The place was hoping but fortunately we were promptly greeted, seated, and waited upon. The menu is a bit limited. The food was good to very good. The radicchio salad was very flavorful, although I thought a bit large. There was... More

Went for the first time during Portland Dining Month and had the dining month menu. The food was excellent and our server, Mary, was right on too. Highly recommend. 😋

A perfect Portland neighborhood place that is simply a great dining experience. Uncomplicated pasta dishes with an extensive wine list served in a pleasant relaxing space by attentive, if a bit exuberant, servers. Others have mentioned it gets loud (it certainly fills up most nights), but we had no problem conversing during dinner. Corkage is $20, but their wine markup... More

Always a favorite, often Girls night out. Good selection, gets busy but that's because it's good. Love the pasta dishes.
