Went to OBA with friends for my birthday. Had an email for a free entree. Waiter was great and very accommodating. They don't have the jalapeño cheese appetizers on the main menu but they made them for us. Delicious. Guacamole was delicious. Halibut was ok....More

We held a business function here, a dinner with approximately 35 people, and had an excellent experience. Communication was clear leading up to the event and it was easy to work with the restaurant staff to drop off some things early and make sure the...More

This is a large restaurant and the first table we were seated at was noisy beyond belief. Apparently our faces gave us away and the hostess reseated us immediately. Our booth was much quieter. Great food and service. Tableside guac is a must!

Like Sheryl below, we usually hit Oba's bar for dinner. The dining room menu is available there, but the real value and fun menu is the happy hour which generously runs til 6:30pm in the early eve. With most HH items under $10, you can...More

We went to Oba because of their advertised Portland Dining Month offerings, we had the prawns and carne asada, both were beautifully presented and delicious. The salad before and desert after were also great additions to the meal.

We had a large group and this place still did an outstanding job making it seem like we were just a small, intimate group. The service was accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable and the food was fresh and delicious! I had the veggie enchiladas and was...More

I've been going to Oba for years and it stays consistent. While the food is always average or slightly better, it's never been bad. And the blood orange margarita is to die for. I typically just do the bar, not the restaurant. Lots of seating...More
