The cafe was a few blocks away from my B&B. A small, cheerful looking corner cafe. The server was very nice and offered the suggestion to get the special offered before 9 am. Great suggestion for a very inexpensive breakfast. 2 perfectly cooked eggs, hash brown potatoes, crispy bacon and toast! Everything was well prepared and tasted fresh. I ordered... More

I didn't actually eat while visiting this cafe, but I watched my husband and sister in law and they seemed to be enjoying their food! He ordered the Divine Cobb Salad and she ordered the BLAT sandwich. Both items looked freshly prepared with generous portions. We were staying just down the street and it was great to have such a... The Cricket Cafe is located in the Belmont neighborhood. The first time I went to the Cricket Cafe I was looking at going to a nearby diner, but found it to be closed. I walked down the block and found this small corner cafe. I ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich and home fries and was pleasantly surprised! At first I... More

I worked all night and looked forward to meeting my son and his fiancé for a birthday breakfast. I was so tired and hungry and had looked at the menu prior to my arrival so I knew just what I wanted! My latte cost $5.50 and while beautiful, was cold! I had my usual breakfast (bacon, eggs, pancake), all cold.... More

Such a great spot for Sunday brunch. The saint hash was everything i could ask for. Great portion size. I can seriously put away some food and left very satisfied.

Both me and the restaurant: full. This place is super-popular so try to avoid peak times of 10-Noon on Sunday, or just be prepared to wait. The food is consistently so good that I overeat every single time I'm here. Hash browns are crispy outside but creamy goodness inside, and both meat-eaters and vegetarians will be happy with lots of... More

Pint sized mimosas started it off. Killer food made the meal. Ranchero Hash, biscuits and gravy and a blueberry pancake made sharing at the table rock. Loved it Hope to go back.

BREAKFAST WAS AWESOME!!!! definitely a place to check out in Portland. Its a smaller restaurant; very cute and homely. The staff is very laid back but on top of things. The food: hands down, all around yummy! I had the cricket omelet and split a french toast. I wish I had the entire french toast to myself. will certainly be... More

What a great spot. We went for breakfast. The pancakes and French toast were superlative. How many places have grade B syrup... the best. And pepper bacon! The fruit bowl had grapes, apple, kiwi, watermelon, and more. Can't wait for breakfast tomorrow!!
