Well I guess if you go to a place that is so hyped up by everyone (people, magazines, review sites) you expect the doughnut to be finger licking amazing. The store is in a bad part of town and I wouldn't want to go there anytime after dark. The store decor is cool and totally different which is kind of... More

But when in Portland, I break that rule. These donuts have great flavors, aren't greasy tasting, and worth the trip. Some flavors are really gimmicky but edible, but if you stay with the standards (the voodoo doll one, maple bacon, the Arnold Palmer) you will have a pleasant experience.

Had a 10 hour over night layover at Portland International Airport, so since I'm here! About a 30 minute ride with no traffic and I was in Portland Town ready to see what the hype was all about. Location: a 11pm, not a safe feeling. Maybe bring your kids during day. The shop is small. So if there is a... More

This place is as much about the atmosphere as it is the crazy donuts! They taste yummy and may even make you blush with their special donuts that cater to a more grown up joker!

We were excited the hotel we stayed at was right across the street from Voodoo but as we walked by one day, I was shocked to see a long line out the door. I had no idea, people had to wait in a line to get in. The next day we went in the evening with our family and got... More

We arrived in Portland not knowing the Voodoo hype but were there for the Saturday market and kept seeing folks w/pink boxes so we decided to check it out. Waited in line, and so go to meet lots of interesting people from across the US, stick a penny on the outside wall, watch musicians (electric cello?), and witness and impromptu... More

First time visiting Oregon and were told we had to try this place. We got there around 10pm and there was a bit of a line, but not too bad. Everyone was super cool and friendly. The choices are almost overwhelming. We left with 8 different donuts and ate them for breakfast the next day, so much sugar... Keep Portland... More

The atmosphere is fun and the selections are awesome. From Captain Crunch to Oreo, the creativity is apparent in every donut! A well deserved hot spot and perfect end to a Portland day trip.
