Voodoo doughnuts is a fun gimmicky stop. Its like kids playing with thier food. The doughnuts are just as good as you get at any grocery bakery. If in the area it's a fun stop. I wouldnt make any special trips.. Just buy a maple...bar from your grocery bakery..put 2 pieces of bacon on it.. wham..or get a long chocolate covered doughnut. Put it between two round Bavarian creme filled doughnuts..Wham..you got thier Cock and Balls special..More

The title tells it all. These donuts were SO good! I’m a plane Jane so I stuck with the glazed and they were literally melt in your mouth. They also deliver so we had more later that night when we had the munchies. If you’re...into donuts this is a must!More

Fun place to be the total tourist. Go ahead and give yourself time and patience to enjoy the line as well once you enter the amazing array of doughnuts. One could spend hours just admiring each beautiful specimen. However, you MUST chose so you’re not...a “Karen” holding up the line !!More

It had been years since I visited Voodoo, my grandson and I were in search of a bakery treat but with so many places closed up we walked to Voodoo. It was well worth the extra few blocks from home. Service was su[er friendly, social...distancing was enforced and there was no line (pretty early in the day). Best of all the donuts were delicious!More

We passed by this place a few times during our walk to see the city but the line detoured us from stopping. That was a mistake. We should have stopped by earlier. They close at 9 PM and we did not know that. We happened...to walk by at about 10 minutes until 9. They were shutting down the line. We told them we drove all the way here just for the doughnuts. The guy at the door said to hold on. Once the line was gone he said he is breaking the rules and letting us in just this one time. Very nice of him! We got 6 doughnuts and ate most of them in the Lyft as we went back to our motel. They were very good. I highly recommend. You will see why so many people are walking around with pink boxes in their hands.More

Best place to sugar up to start the morning after a red eye flight! Voodoo Doughnut is still the leader when it comes to unique combinations and innovative flavors.

We stopped in early in the morning- line was already forming, as they were monitoring the number allowed in the shop due to Covid restrictions. We LOVED our donuts. I was disappointed with the surroundings of the shop. The area appeared to me to be...unsafe, but there was a security officer at the door.More

I love Voodoo donuts! There donuts are great tasting, but the real attraction for me is the attraction itself. I love going to this seedy part of Portland and mixing it up with street people and food trucks. The area is a destination itself. Due...to the recent riots in downtown Portland, I would recommend going before sun sets if you can. The donut shop is safe. They practice social distancing so you will be waiting in line for other customers to leave before you can enter. The bouncer at the door is a nice friendly guy who does a good job controlling this process. Parking in the area is at a premium so you many need to pay for parking or take pubic transportation.More

This is a well-known donut shop with delicious donuts and a fun atmosphere! I highly recommend getting a treat here. The names of some of the donuts may be inappropriate for little kids so you may not want to let them read the menu. They...only offer to-go and limited people in the shop due to covid. Note: This shop is located in a run-down neighborhood with a large homeless population and strip clubs. I recommend driving and going right when they open. There is a security guard at the shop.More

Fun little stop to grab a treat. Enjoyed our choices and lots of fun inuendos. Glad we didn’t encounter the wait the roped off lines seemed to indicate they experience.

East side on NE Davis is closest to your hotel if studying at the airport, and you are coming into downtown anyway. There is also a food truck location on 82 in a pinch. East side will be less of a parking hassle too... More
