When I first moved to downtown Portland, I heard good words about this little place. I decided to try it out. Located under the Morrison Bridge, this place is a "hidden jewel." Let me tell you, the pasta here is authentic, homemade, and even better than Olive Garden! I loved my first meal here so much that I decided to... More

The Spold Mac was delicious (just the right amount of spice) and their Montage Margarita was light and refreshing. I greatly enjoyed the sense of sarcastic humor that most of the wait staff seemed to be in possession of, and this is one of the only restaurants I've WANTED to have leftovers from. They do the coolest things with your... More

Long wait so ended up eating in the bar. No waiters in the bar, you have to go up to the bar to order. The Bogo with chicken fried steak was excellent but other dishes ordered in our party was average such as the Jambalaya and Crawfish Etoufee.

Came in on recommendation from friends and was not disappointed! Very cool atmosphere with many large murals on the walls. Had three oyster shooters and the alligator jambalaya. The shooters were incredible, definitely a must!! The jambalaya was nice as well. Definitely an unexpected surprise in Portland.

My chicken fried steak was delicious including it sides. Yummy mash potatoes. The communal seating was not comfy but I'm the type where you need to check that out before you go somewhere and in this case we were just exploring. Anyways the service was excellent they were busy but quick to get you what you need. Water was always... More

Addison, Adam & I had dinner here. We tried so many items, I cannot remember them all! Suffice it to say the food is extraordinary, the waiter was a hoot & very helpful. The used plates are whisked away with fanfare. There is much original art which delighted me. I was just great. And the finale included leftovers wrapped in... More

Visiting family in Portland and had dinner at the Montage. Great time! We don't get to the West Coast very often, but we will be back.

We are visiting Portland and our friends took us to Le Bistro Montage and it was great! Oyster shots were fantastic and the food was excellent. They have a great array of local beers to try and to top it off, they create tin foil masterpieces when you leave with the left overs!

We came to this place because of it's reviews on Yelp. When we got there we were a little apprehensive because of it's location under the bridge and a guy skateboarding by with a scary mask and a dog. We decided to go in anyway and it is so inviting once you walk in the door. The ambience was perfect,... More

I had never been to this place and had wanted to try it for a long time as it is a Portland institution and has been in business a long time. The first thing you need to know is that this place gets EXTREMELY busy, so you need to get there early if you want to get a good table.... More

Description
The vision of Jon Beckel, Le Bistro Montage's founder, was to have a place where everyone could enjoy themselves and have a great meal. He hit the mark with Le Bistro Montage. Founded in 1992 in a converted taco stand, it soon moved to it's present location at 301 SE Morrison. On a shoestring budget, Jon and staff created a one of a kind place where, when you step in the door, you're not quite sure where you are. Its quirky decor, including huge paintings, a poster pulled off the Berlin Wall, decadent fresh flowers, tin cans pounded into the floor, and long, linen-covered tables, Creates an atmosphere that draws all types and guarantees a great time.
