We found Thai Peacock while spending a week in downtown Portland. Craving Thai food, we needed something within walking distance to the hotel. It was a very cold, windy evening and this place was so cozy, friendly, and warm - serving classic Thai food. Turned out to be exactly what we needed. We actually ate there twice in 8 days!

I had the green curry, the curry wasn't like a liquid it has a paste. It was good, but pretty spicy. If you don't like spicy then you might want to have a different curry. And their fried rice was delicious. They also, make milk tea but they don't have a big variety but it is good. And they had... More

We continued our tradition of going out after the Christmas Eve services for Chinese food which has morphed into Thai food for the past few years. After reading reviews for Thai Peacock, we decided to make a dinner reservation and go there. Our reservation time got a little messed up as somehow they had us down for 6PM, but we... More

Very good food, lovely staff, totally cozy. Curries and soups so comforting on a chilly day. Give it a try!

Two of us had dinner here on our first night in Portland. I ordered the Sassy Mango cocktail which was so good. Pretty dangerous as I could have had so many more! The portions were perfect and the flavors were fantastic!

Nice, relatively small and friendly atmosphere Thai restaurant. Excellent food, with a good selection. It can get rather busy, especially at weekends, so best to go early or try to book.

This place is a little out of the centre, just on the edge of the Pearl District. The dining room is spacious and nicely furnished, service is friendly and the food very tasty - all the more so because its really well priced. Highly recommended.

One my favorite Thai places for lunch - a little small, so be early or expect a wait. Very tasty foods, wide drink selection, and excellent, fast service.

Thai Peacock is a little restaurant with really good food, friendly, efficient service and a cozy atmosphere. There is quite an extensive menu and they have lots of vegetarian choices. It's in an interesting area of Portland that is a good place for a stroll before or after dinner.

As with many types of food this was a little different than that Thai food I am used to. Four of us went for dinner around 7:30 on a Monday night and encountered about a 10 minute wait. The inside is quite small and a large group was going to be seated next to us, I did appreciate the curtesy... More
