I love Thai and have eaten it all over the world including Thailand. This is a family run place that cooks everything fresh to order, or at least it tastes that way to me. The tastes were well balanced and you can taste all the spices and ingredients. This was perfect, just what I wanted, great food, fast friendly service... More

I had the mango curry with prawns and chicken. The mango was so fresh and the prawns were just right. Flavor spicy just like I like curry.

Stopped in for a late lunch with my colleague. Service was quick as the restaurant was not busy. Flavor and heat level were average; I expected the heat to be cooked in with my meal, not pepper flakes.

I was in Portland for a meeting that ended just before 12 noon. I'd spotted Thai Peacock walking from car to the meeting venue and it looked like a great lunch spot. My meeting ended just before noon so I beat the lunchtime rush (which did come and proves the place is popular), sitting at the bar! I ordered the... More

It is ok, but not close to other Thais in Portland. Same food as in any highway exit kind of restaurant. Restroom cleanness needs improvement.

Stopped by Saturday lunchtime whilst visiting the city after looking at the reviews. Not impressed. Average food. Pad Thai too sweet. Papaya salad below par. Ok got quick lunch. Not exciting

Just a few blocks from the Westin Portland, Thai Peacock offered both traditional and "modern" options. The Trout was a daring choice which resulted satisfying Thai influenced dish. The fried chicken was also a good choice. The restaurant is clean, small and quaint. The staff is friendly.

The curries are indeed comfort food as advertised. Comfort food is never amazing cuisine, but good and makes you happy.

We found this place while walking around Portland lost. It looked lonely from faraway but as we got closer we could see it was full of people. I ordered the Red Curry with Mango and Tofu. It was amazing! My dish had giant chunks of fresh mango in it. The curry was flavorful and creamy. There was a lot of... More

I went here twice. The first time I had the salad rolls (with an amazing pineapple peanut dipping sauce) and the red peanut curry with tofu. The second time I had the salad rolls again and a different yellow curry (with tofu and vegetables). Both times the food was excellent.
