I went here on the recommendation of the staff at Miller Paint across the street. What a great place. It's small and cramped, but so what!? Staff was super friendly. I think I was served by the owner (she looked like the woman on the back of the menu). Very quickly after I sat down I was presented with a... More

Everything we've ever eaten here was fresh, tasty and a great value. Four of us ate for under $40 and could not finish our dinners. Can't beat this spot for value and fun!

We wanted something different for a night out with friends. We had read good reviews and wanted to give it a try. The restaurant was full of people and quite noisy, but the food was amazing, large portions and the wait staff friendly! We will be back!

Our family visited Nicholas for lunch and the small dining room was crowded and we had to wait a while to get in. Soon after we were seated, they brought a very good flat bread to the table to share. The atmosphere was clean and simple, but quite noisy. I ordered a lamb kabob bowl which came with rice and... More

Even though we ate there about 3 pm, the place - which is very small - was packed and terribly noisy. The place seems popular with young parents and the attendant screaming, crying children. Tabletops and menus looked and felt dirty. I didn't want to touch them The food was ok, but it's pretty easy to find good Middle Eastern... More

Absolutely phenomenal Lebanese! We came in and did two different vegetarian mezzas and couldn't have been happier with the food. It's flavorful, rich, well-spiced, and straight from Lebanon. The only downside: the space. Be prepared to get very close and personal with your neighbors. However, it's well worth, I can't imagine finding better Lebanese food outside of Beirut.

We come here atleast once a month for the wonderful pita bread that is huge and puffy and hot. A little too cozy in seating, but it is an improvement from years ago when we could be eating get off our neighbors plate without realizing :) During my last visit service has vastly improved but alas the bread is not... There are three Nicholas' restaurants in the greater Portland area. The food is consistent between all three. It is wonderful food! They start with a huge, piping hot-from-the-oven pita-type bread that is so big they have to raise it up off the table on its own stand or it wouldn't fit. Everybody breaks off pieces and dips it into a... More

We wondered in here around 4:30 pm on a Thursday and it was packed! Great sign... This was the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! I had the lamb kabob platter and my husband had the beef shawarma. Both were better than amazing. Highly recommend!

Great food I have never had a bad dish. Bread, Lamb, Tzatziki, Baba Ganoush and even the hummus is great. Be warned it can have long lines for dinner and lunch any time of the week. Hint have a early dinner or lunch to avoid the crowds.
