This review is about my visit to the place in 2015. Sadly, now it's closed. I had never tried the food from country Georgian before. So when I saw the Kargi Gogo, a Georgian food cart in Portland, I was eager to give it a...More

Nice cheese bread w/smoked ham. You'll need napkins because the bread is a bit buttery, but that just adds to the great flavor. Pleasant staff as well.

Having lived in the Caucasus, I can vouch for the authenticity of the flavors of Kargi Gogo. If you have a craving for Georgian food or if you want to try it for the first time, get the sampler platter with khinkali (dumplings), badrijani nigzvit...More

I had never had Georgian food before, so this was a new adventure. The cheese bread was delicious! Near Powells Books.

We shared the delicious mushroom filled dumplings. They were messy but delicious. We had a side of yogurt with garlic for dipping but used very little as the dumplings were delicious on their own.

Having never been to Portland, but knowing about the food culture I wanted to have at least one food truck/cart experience. I found out where the main pod was and wandered around the block trying to find the most unique option. Now, while I'm sure...More

Let's face it, some of the best dining in Portland is at the streets lined with food carts. I'd say Kargi Gogo is one worth visiting. I really enjoyed the mushroom dumplings and the folks working there were pretty cool too.

I had the khinkali dumplings and they were great! For under $10 I was starving and ordered 6 of them and could barely finish the last one. It does take about 10 to 15 minutes for your food to be ready because they make everything...More
