Food looked good and was cheap, but everything tasted wrong. The chicken was so under done I was worried about getting sick. The soup broth was bland and over somethinged. Too much fat? Old oil. I couldn't place it but none of my group of five could stomach finishing the food. Lone high point was the chinese donuts which were...... More

Portland is loaded with Pho and other noodle houses. Kenny's serves its own take on noodle soup varieties, and makes excellent congee. It is just slightly more expensive, per bowl size, than other similar restaurants, but the quality is always good.

If you are around Division Street and the 205 freeway here in Portland, perhaps heading to the airport, there are many Asian restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Kenny's Noodle House. Do yourself a huge favor and eat at one of those places-you can thank me later. Always looking for family run restaurants on our travels, we spied Kenny's and... More

As out-of-towners and needing quick sustenance we tried Kenny's for take out. The menu was difficult to understand and being unfamiliar with real oriental cuisine and accustomed to the americanized version we figured noodles were a safe choice. The place was full of people who looked like they were enjoying their dishes. I had beef brisket and noodles. Others in... More

Not sure how to describe the food - Chinese, Vietnamese, or a combination. But the noodle dishes are just great. With a name like "Kenny's Noodle House" you expect a dive. But this hole in the wall is worth the trip. I ate a "rock cod with noodles". You need to try it. Use the dip (sauce), it adds more... More

Bad service from an old woman. Dirty environment. They wiped everything on to the floor. An old lady doesn't even want to service us at all.

If the parking lot is full, the restaurant is full. Good place for inexpensive rice porridge. Great comfort food on a cold, rainy day.

This is small traditional Chinese restaurant serving traditional Cantonese food not the Americanized fare you usually see. They have a long list of noodle soups to tempt most any palate with regular and large bowls that will satisfy most appetites. They also have dry noodle dishes that we will try on our next visit. I had the fish ball, beef... More

We passed by this place and noticed the completely full parking lot, so we came back with more family members at about ten a.m. on a Sunday morning before they got really busy. We easily found a parking place among their 17-some slots. All the tables were arranged for four, so hostess/server moved a table for the six of us,... More
