First time at this restaurant. Went before an event at the Schnitz. Food good for both vegetarians and others. Service very good. I highly recommend.

Went on a business dinner after a conference to this restaurant. Menu was eclectic and love how you can have shareable, or order an individual meal. Loved the Gorgonzola salad and the Brussels sprouts. My coworker’s Mac and cheese was way too salty. Atmosphere was...More

Seemed like a busy lunch spot and decided to go in. Had the salad and sandwich. I had the shrimp salad sandwich with Gorgonzola salad. Both were delicious although the shrimp salad sandwich was loaded with onion and took quite a few breath mints to...More

In what used to be the lobby of the Heathman Hotel is this great new spot. Really good food that isn’t too “out there”, very reasonable prices for Portland and incredibly attentive wait staff. We WILL be back. Try the turkey sandwich and berries salad.

We enjoyed a great meal during the holidays with extended family. Lots of options for sharing and for kids. The mushroom soup was a hit as well as the grilled cheese for the kids.

This was our fourth time at Picnic House (it is convenient for symphony). Generally, I have found the place to be good and some dishes such as the wild mushroom soup very good. This time, neither of use were impresed. Service so-so, but that may...More

We went here as a group of 8 last night. Service was a mandatory 20% for groups. It felt as if the server knew that his tip was "in the bag" and really did not pay much attention to us. Despite him walking past us...More
