This small and relaxed space has amazing food. I have yet to be disappointed by anything I have ordered.

We were exploring the Portland Saturday Market and wondered off to explore a little more around the Chinatown area. After looking around the shops we entered this cool little restaurant for lunch. First the staff is friendly and patient while we explored the wonderful selections. The menu is extensive.. I ordered a hamburger with fries and a small salad. Here... More

Stumbled on Theo's while looking for a different restaurant. An avocado burger sounded interesting and since they seem to specialize in bacon -- how could I go wrong? The burger was tasty and while a bit pink in the center -- my business associate and I made the right choice for lunch. The potato salad was also very good. Spiced... More

Walked two blocks from the downtown Dollar Rental Car lot on the advice of the workers there. I was looking for something that I could take to the train station to eat there while I waited to board the Amtrak Empire Builder. Theo's was awesome! I found the menu a little confusing but ordered the roast beef sandwich with chips.... More

Got off the MAX tram, hungry for my late breakfast. Discovered Theo's strictly by accident by the tram stop. What? No pan fries? Well not a good beginning but salad or fries would be necessary to replace pan fries on this particular day at 10 am. However ... turned out fine. Excellent sandwiches and paninis. Great coffee. Better prices than... More

As we walked around Old Town searching for an inexpensive and comfortable place for lunch, we lucked upon Theo's. The food was very, very good and priced reasonably. The service was excellent and I cannot express how friendly everyone who worked there was to us. We definitely will return.

This is for the Theo's that is on the 4th floor of the U.S. Main Post Office across from Union Station. We grabbed a quick bite before boarding a train at the advice of a station worker. The atmosphere is not that great, eating in a cafeteria setting with workers who brought their lunch was not ideal for us. Plus... More

Average food, ok prices. Staff was aloof and almost burnt my burger (could hear employee remind another there was a burger that needed to be flipped before it was burnt) Staff attitudes weren't worth spending another $7 burger on my vacation

We stopped by for lunch on Memorial Day because not too much was open in downtown Portland, especially in the dining program. Some of the “roach coaches” are in the dining guide, but we avoided those. We ordered at the register and then waited for our food. I had the garlic beef sandwich with curly fries, and other half had... More

The best hotdog in downtown Portland. It's right off the MAX trax so, a perfect spot to hit before you venture out on your day. Awesome atmosphere and view of chinatown.
