My daughter and I have been hankering for high quality dim sum, and drove from downtown Portland to the eastside to find it. We were well-rewarded. Much like the high quality dim sum establishments in LA, there are many seats, a loud and vibrant beehive of activity and many diners, and cart ladies bringing different categories of dim sum to... From Dim Sum to Dinner, Hk Cafe always has the excellent service and great food to satisfy my appetite! Many food varieties to choose from including a variety of wines as well. Whenever I leave from a meal, it is always satisfying!

This is our new favorite dim sum spot. Excellent food, friendly servers, and reasonable prices. The room is huge and the ambient noise level is proportional to its size and volume of chatting diners so if you have a hearing issue, do come "off hours" to make your experience better.

Linda invited us to try the dim sum here. It was packed but the dim sum is ok comparing sine good dim sum places in Bay Area. The price is reasonable and very crowded during weekend

We love this place! Everything is always fresh and huge portions to take home. Possibly the best Chinese food I've ever had. Try it!

Another Chinese friend raved about this newly opened place. We visited on a Friday night for dinner and dim sum. Authentic Chinese place with really good Won Ton soup, Shaomai , noodles, Chashao (BBQ Pork). We ordered a combo plate which two adults could not finish along with a Won Ton soup. Could not finish the Ended up taking two... More

I'd been to HK Cafe for Sunday dim sum (terrific!) and recently went there for dinner on a weekday. At 6 PM, there was no problem getting a table; but at 7:45 the restaurant was nearly full. The clientele was overwhelmingly Chinese (a good sign), and there were numerous tables of eight, ten, or more, all with wonderful-looking food. Our... More

We went here before going to a movie. I was immediately struck by how large a place this is. It looked full and I was worried we would have to wait but we were seated immediately. We ordered won tons and egg rolls to startbthen two plates to share for the 5 of us. The food came relatively quickly and... More

We went for Dim Sum and arrived at an awkward time of 4:30- not quite lunch and not quite dinner. The service was still very good and the food was delicious! It did take a bit bit of time to get our food but was WORTH THE WAIT! By the time we left the place was packed!!!

We had a good time going there because it seems pretty authentic & it's always fun to pick your food from the carts circulating. They're crazy fast too! Food was on the table before we even got tea in our cups. First bite- food is cold... Second dish, second bite, cold.... Everything was luke warm to room temp. A little... More
