Even though I live nearby, it was my first time to Circa. It wasn't crowded when we arrived at around 4:15 p.m. on a Friday. They had some sound-absorbing material in the bar, so people's conversations didn't bombard us we sat there. Also, really liked the mini-booths they had on the east side of the restaurant. The food was quite... More

We met our friends at Circa 33. It has a Speakeasy vibe, along with a hidden room. The decor is nice, and the people in vintage costumes coming in added uniqueness. They were there for a private party, so not a common event. The drinks and appetizers were good: deviled eggs and beet salad. The food was slow coming to... More

We ventured out to experience another Portland Dining Month restaurant & I'm glad we did. Very comfortable unpretentious spot right in the thick of hipsterville. This old lady felt totally comfortable. Wait staff were very knowledgeable and easily engaged. They also knew everything about adult beverages. The name refers to prohibition~ well, it's just fun to drink popular drinks from... More

Great place o go when you are saying good by to your 20's and hello to your 30's! We were invited to a party that was a 1920's Roaring 20's theme and this was a great place to have it. We had the private room in the back that we had to give a secret code word to the bartender... More

Really cool looking bar with lots of selection and local Portland beers on tap. Flights of liquor and beer. Next time we will have to go on a weekend to get in the secret room.

Had a great time here. I reserved the room in back for an upcoming event and can't wait. The feel of this place is amazing, the food was shockingly good and the drinks and service were top notch. Definitely a fan.

you're going to hear about the fish and chips, and you should. and a lot about the speakeasy, which is cool, but, if you like cheeseburgers add this place to your list of hidden gems in south east pdx.

Our uber driver recommended this place to us and it was a pleasant surprise. Beautiful bar with a surprise speakeasy in the back. All my friends really enjoyed their drinks, especially the slushie. My Old fashioned was decent but could have been better.

I enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and fries. Others had a hamburger, salad, Mac and cheese and all was good. They make a great Kentucky mule. Would be very happy to go again soon.

Ended up at Circa 33 after the place we first went to was too crowded. Found Circa 33 to be an intimate and great place to meet with good food and service and cocktails. Plus, there is a surprise in the back if you are lucky enough to be invited!! We are not vegans, but the vegan burger was quite... More

Great new neighborhood bar/restaurant where the food is inventive and better than at some of the splashier big name places. Loved it!
