Landing in PDX and wanted some breakfast before I headed back to Eugene. I really like finding spots that are small/local/fresh and this totally fit the bill. Food was great and special props for the gluten free items that were perfect for my partner.

Seating is nice inside - but we decided to sit outside with our dog - comfie picnic style tables and quick service - I had french toast and the best bacon and great coffee - my wife had scrambled eggs hash browns and the same bacon - We lingered as the weather was great - people walking by with their... The breakfast is very filling! Love the eggs and biscuits and gravy. Any egg dish is great will have to come back for dinner.

We have eaten at the Bread and Ink, Jam, Cup and Saucer, and Zells on the eastside of PDX. The Eclectic Kitchen is #1 based on my taste test. Try the half and half!

The Eclectic Kitchen has good sandwiches and salads made with fresh ingredients and sturdy breads but the real reason to go is breakfast. It was one of the best breakfasts he'd had in a long, long time, my husband said--perfectly cooked eggs, great bacon. Another companion had a bacon, lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich that was quite good too so... More

Found in the Beaumont neighborhood. Breakfast was plentiful and overall quite tasty. The gluten free biscuit was a disappointment. There was no music blaring which was a welcome relief from so many restaurants. We were able to enjoy a nice, comfortable meal with friends.

There isn't anything on the breakfast menu I don't like. Unique dishes, but they will make the usual (eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes) for you. The French Toast is marvelous. The West Virginia biscuits can be substituted for the regular toast. The biscuits and gravy are great. It's all good!

This is my first time to Portland and we wanted a good place for breakfast. My husband used tripadvisor and this is one place that popped up. Tripadvisor did not steer us wrong. The place was a little quirkie and the service wasn't anything special, but the food was excellent!!! My husband & I both had the artichoke scrambles with... More

This is a small, cozy cafe with lots of light and a nice community, family-friendly feeling (but not totally focused on/overwhelmed by kids either). Menu had some great egg dishes on it (scrambles etc.) with interesting and classic combos of veggies and meats, and the biscuits were GREAT: flaky, not too greasy, just the right size to indulge without feeling... We stumbled upon the Eclectic Kitchen when out running errands. I had the Roasted Vegetable Sandwich on a sourdough toasted roll. The veggies were in a cream aioli sauce that was a number 10. There was also included, a choice of green salad or broccoli cole slaw. I went for the cole slaw and was not disappointed. The sandwich was... More
