Hand down the best Swiss food I've had in the US. The schnitzel was PERFECT. Light, tender. Spaetzle was exceptional and the emince zurichoise was the BOMB. Perfect service, intimate and one of the most enjoyable dining experiences in a low key atmosphere I've had. If I come back to Portland, this is on my list!

The food and beverages were the most reminiscent of Germany. The wait staff was so attentive and food came out in acceptable intervals. It was the best FIND all weekend for food choices.

I had the special of the day, beef tenderloin and my husband had the pork with mushroom and cream sauce; they both were very well prepared. The salad was delicious, my husband had the soup, very tasty and light. My son had the bratwurst and he loved it! The service was good, although slow, one of the cooks was not... More

Must make reservations. Small place with great food. The escargot and mushroom apps were great. All entrees come with soup, slaw, or salad. Bread basket is presented to all tables. Chicken and pork medallions were all properly cooked and tasty. Portions are ample. Cheese fondue is available. Service is excellent! Most entrees are under $20. Family owned business. Highly recommend.

I visited Swiss Hibiscus last year in June my Daughter was on a Basketball tourney trip, it definitely evoked a comforting and hospitable atmosphere with a European charm. My initial impression was that the restaurant looked more like a small take out, casual place, but this place has a lot of heart and is welcoming with great authentic Swiss food... More

What a find this place is! The schnitzel and spaetzle were perfectly prepared and the traditional emince Zurichoise (thin pork slices in a fabulous cream sauce) was so good, we needed a spoon to clean up the remaining sauce. The wine list is a great match with several nice German and Swiss wine offerings and a good beer list as... More

Thank goodness for GPS. Would have never found this spot without it. Great little restaurant. I had their special Jagerschnitzel. Very tasty and tender. The salad before the main dish was made with fresh ingredients and a great house dressing. Service was very attentive. Give it a try!

Delectable Swiss food, warm efficient service and a relaxing atmosphere. Rösti, spätzli, schnitzels, lovely salads. We were delighted. But what makes it so authentic? Owner and chef Jennie Wyss explained. Her inspiration and mentor has been her Swiss father, Martin Wyss, a distinguished restaurant owner in Hawaii for many years. Jennie has brought her skill and knowledge to Portland. Hurray!

One of the best places in Portland. We've eaten here three times, and have never been disappointed. The service is top notch, and food Swiss.
