This is one of three places I miss the most, having moved away from Portland. The food is great, and has some of the best fish and chips in Portland. The all British menu is unique, and filled with harder to find items. The ambiance is fun, as I'm a Doctor Who fan, but I'd like this place even if... More

When we walked into the restaurant we thought the only menu was the one hanging on the wall, and there wasn't a lot on it. We said this was our first time there, and there is a sign that reads please order before you go to your table? While we were standing there looking at the items on the board the... More

This place has a wide variety of fried fish. The service was good for the most part. The place itself has a lot of Dr. Who stuff. It was a quiet night when we went.

We ate at this restaurant twice during a couple week period and the food (we just tried the fish & chips) was consistently good. It is hard to rate service as the first time we rec'd decent service, but the second night was the first episode of Dr Who and the place was a mob scene. They gave up on... More

Ok; we checked this out online before we went determined to have real "english" fish and chips; first this place has no parking; it is in a less desirable part of town; the seating was limited and terrible (not to mention dirty); it took 30 minutes to get our order taken; another 15 mins fro our drinks (overpriced and very... I went here because I am a big Doctor Who fan and heard that this place is also known as The TARDIS Room. I had to go! The area is run down and pretty seedy but the beer and food and tons of Doctor Who paraphernalia was totally worth it. I had the fish & chips and they were delicious.... More

You can tell who made this place a winner and kept my wife from walking out. A few years ago we would have turned around and left. - wouldn't have mattered if the Queen had loved the food She found it dingy and dark .We did make the best of it and go back to the outside patio where we... More

Come here to check out the Dr Who inspired decor. The food is basic British Fish and Chips - nice selection of fish to choose from. Cooked perfectly.

This is, obviously, based on the English Fish and Chip Shop. I think it succeeds on several levels. First, they have really good fried fish, big fleshy pieces in a tasty, crisp, light batter. I was surprised and impressed by the large selection of the type of fish, from fresh halibut to regular cod. We also got the fried beets... More

A co-worker told me about this restaurant. I am always looking for a restaurant that knows how to prepare flaky fish with a crisp battered coating. I found it here in this quirky restaurant! I had the cod fish and chips. My date had the Davros burger which consists of a thick slab of hamburger that is battered and deep... More
