Tasty sandwiches served with kettle chips

This place is very small. We came here on a hot day and it was fairly warm inside the restaurant. We had the roast beef sandwich and the Italian cured meats sandwiches. Both were served with kettle potato chips. Yumm. The roast beef sandwich came with a horseradish spread, carmelized onions... read more

We stopped here on the way to the train station and we very happy with the food! They were out of turkey so I got my second choice, chicken salad, and it was great! Not just a bunch of mayo, which I was worried it would be. My husband's pork sandwich was so good that he finished it before I... More

They managed to screw up grilled cheese and tomato soup. I had no idea that was possible but what a disappointment. Counter service was okay but he first delivered a tunafish sandwich to me (my friend and I were 2 of maybe 8 customers) - which is obviously not grilled cheese and soup - and made a stink about returning... We went on the recommendation of Diners Driveins & Dives, but this was a dud. I love a good Cubano, but this was was so dry I could barely choke it down, definitely the worst I've ever had. Hate to say it, but for $10 it's a total waste of time & money.

One of the best sandwiches I've had. Absolutely worth the trip through Portland's awful traffic (seriously, what is it with the traffic in this city?).

Sooo disappointed! The reuben was half fat and I could not eat it! The tuna fish was tasteless. I will never go back.

We read about this place before we got to Portland and drove straight there. We got the cuban sandwich and meatball sub, split halfsies, of course. If I had to choose, I'd say the cuban was a little bit better. Both were so tasty. Definitely recommend this place.

(This review is for the Morrison St location, but there are several in Portland). We were getting bicycle accessories nearby and asked a bike tech at the shop for a recommendation on a place for a sandwich. He got excited, and told us the folks at the shop eat at Bunk all the time, which is a short walk away.... More

We both got the breakfast sandwich, my husband with bacon and myself with ham. Both were delicious! Quality, tasty ingredients, especially the bread. Guys at the counter were very friendly as well.

An unexpected delight in a little hole in the wall place. All the sandwiches looked super tasty and the Reuben did not disappoint. Will definitely be back to try more sandwiches!
