I ate at My Brothers Crawfish located on SE 82nd and Hamilton in Portland. The food was excellent. I had always wanted to try a Crawfish Boil and my opportunity finally came. I had the one pound crawfish meal in spicy boil with potatoes and corn, plus a french bread roll. I would highly recommend ordering two bread rolls because... More

This is a Cajun restaurant that specializes in "boils" which are bowls of meat and vegetables in a wonderful soupy sauce. Its also quite messy, so request a bib. The food is really good and plentiful. The bar makes wonderful drinks, and the waitstaff is very friendly. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that service was a... More

It was ok. I wasn't super impressed with any of it. I had gumbo and it was kinda flavorless. My wife had the shrimp boil and I thought it needed more spice. The soft shell crab appetizer was decent but the Cajun crab cake was garbage. I didn't get any pics because it was pretty crowded and very dark in... More

This is a "whole in the wall" restaurant offering excellent Cajun food. There is almost always a waiting line. You better reserve two days ahead. We tried their "Shrimp boil", which is wonderful. Large shrimp are boiled in Cajun sauce, which is delicious. The dish comes with hot heavenly bread. There are other equally delicious dishes. The price is reasonable... More

My sister who lives here found this place. Little hole in the wall with wonderful Cajun boil. Had the King crab... wouldn't call them "kings" more like a prince size, but wonderful. Added mushrooms and potatoes... perfect. Skip the sides, dirty rice less than spectacular and others are just o.k.

Found this place by accident - and SO Glad!! Place was busy but they seated us right away. Staff was super nice. Had the shrimp boil, étouffée and jambalaya. My husband lived in Louisiana and he said this place brought back some great tasting memories! Make sure you get the bread to go with the boil!!!

Don't let the location fool you. It's in a small shopping center in the back corner. Wasn't even sure we had found the right place but boy had we ever. I've had many crawfish boils from my homemade to the heart of New Orleans and this is hands down the best I've ever had. The broth that the crawfish soak... More

My wife had blackened shrimp salad (very good great lettuce, lots of tomatoes, and shrimp) and I had the seafood gumbo, which came with an excellent peppery sauce, the kind that clears your sinuses. We were served by both wait people and they were friendly and thoughtful. The crowd, as expected on a Saturday night, was young, and two tables... More

One of Portland's hidden gems--if you are a fan of Cajun/creole cuisine, you absolutely cannot miss My Brother's Crawfish. These people (yes, the eponymous brothers) know how to food, and keep a friendly, cozy and authentically welcoming establishment.

We came here because of a Groupon. Kind of mixed reviews. They have a variety of fish and seafood in boils, gumbo and other preparations. Beware that the fried shrimp come whole with the heads on. OK in the dinner, kind of strange on a PoBoy sandwich. Some portions are small and some are large. The waitress was very busy... More
