Shopping center store with adequate seating but other than the kids enjoying watching the food go by the service and food is only average.

The hallmark to sushi is “Freshness”! SM missed on most counts! Stopped in about 4 and took a table close to the “load spot”, where staff fill open spots, with the assumption those items would be the freshest. Every selection I took, regardless of plate color was old. So old that the rice was virtually glued to the plate. Half the time, the whole bottom remained stuck to the plate causing the contents to fall into the dip tray! Guessing most items were placed after lunch and had sat there until we arrived. Sitting out for hours does NOT help the flavor/texture of raw seafood! Server nice, but not attentive, guessing from lack of experience. Considering price, value wasn’t there and with so many similar restaurants in Happy Valley, I, at this time, could not suggest it to someone or consider a revisit. That said, SH is new so I’ll be watching for other reviews.

Never again. Sushi maker reused gloves he’d already taken off. Sushi didn’t seem fresh at all, and there was not a good selection on the conveyor. When I asked for a California roll, maker seemed annoyed to have to put down his phone. The lighting is horrible. Don’t bother with this place, they don’t care.

The guys working here are more rude than anyone I have ever encountered working in a restaurant. I do not recommend.

We stopped in for the first time today and were delighted at the choices and low cost. They are currently offering happy hour prices all day (1.35/ dish) We had 14 different dishes and we thought they were all excellent.
The dishes circulate on a magnetic levitation track and the plates have various colors corresponding to prices although at happy hour they are all the same price!
We will return!
