Of course we couldn't come to Portland without stopping here. Love the brewery. Food is great. It gets pretty packed so get here before you get hungry and have some beers at the bar while you wait for a seat.

Worth the wait to get a table and have their great Oregon beer. Great carvings throughout the restaurant. Great food and fast service.

First time here - loved it. Good food, good beer, friendly and knowledgeable staff, lively. What's not to like? There were families here, friends, daters, the whole gamut of ages. The food selection is pretty nice and the quality was great. Enjoy tasting the varieties of beers and find what you like! Such a friendly bunch of folks; look forward... More

I've had tons of Deschutes beer over the years, but I stopped in for a snack and a flight of new-to-me stuff. That means I did NOT have their go-tos like Mirror Pond, Black Butte, etc. Instead, I had the "weird" stuff...and I wasn't a fan. The best two I tried were the Bachelor (English bitter) and the Blindside Baltic... More

SO and I split a burger and chicken siracha sandwich. The Sandwich was so so but the burger was 10/10. The beers are amazing and would visit for those alone.

The number of breweries and brewpubs is getting a little out of hand. The Deschutes Brewery is one we can always count on for good food, beer and friendly service. It's been a couple years since our last visit, and since have added a nice curbside outdoor dining area.

I came here recently and the food was amazing. The beer was great. I sat outside and it was beautiful. I loved everything. The salmon was perfection and paired well with the beet salad. The flight was perfect to try all the brews. We made our own and the server suggested some "must tries." Can't wait to go back!

We stopped in here on a busy Friday afternoon and were given an electronic buzzer thing and told it would be about a 45 minute wait for a table. No problem, we would just wait at the bar and have a beer while we waited. After standing for about 45 minutes, we finally found a seat on a bench in... More

Description
Fusing a distinct Northwest and classic Scottish Pub feel, this Pearl District destination has become a convivial gathering spot of beer and food lovers since its 2008 opening. The brew pub's 18 taps feature Deschutes mainstays plus a selection of seasonal and experimental beers developed and brewed on site exclusively for the Portland pub by brewer Ben Kehs. Executive Chef Jill Ramseier heads the kitchen team, crafting classic pub food taken to the next level. Jill matches our brewer's passion, creating dishes from scratch with the best possible local ingredients.
