Having Czech heritage in my genes adds to my excitement for this place, but none the less, the food is awesome. It really takes me back to my trip to Prague and the food there. Coming down from the Seattle area, I always try and hit this place. The hours aren’t very friendly so it can be tricky to do,... More

This is a unique food cart in a downtown food cart lot. Most of the other carts are what you would typically expect. However, Czech food was a nice option in a sea of the typical. Goulash, dumplings and most of the Czech staples are on offer, including a reasonably tasty schnitzel sandwich. The prices here are a tad inflated... More

Not the best in that bunch. I would try the other places before this one. We waited a while and we finally got our food, it was not special at all. kind of disappointed

Have you ever seen the name of a food that you had never heretofore heard, and then thought, "I must have one!"? Such was my experience of the Schnitzelwich. Whilst walking through Downtown Portland, we happened upon the food shacks and I saw the sign. Never, never have I thought of what it would be like to taste schnitzel in... More

Schnitzelwich is so delicious. Warm. Crunchy. Fresh. Huge. Monika and Karel are wonderful people. I used to love in Portland. I miss Tabor. There is a reason why they have so many regulars. It really is that good.

I love love love this little food cart. Their Schnitzelwich is delicous. It's also huge so unless you are super hungry get the half portion! My husband eats at this cart every week and is in love with it. They also sell Czech bread dumplings - not for eating there but to take home to prepare Czech meals with. It's... More

The chicken schnitzelwich is very good and rather large. It's not healthy or cheap, but it's huge and delicious. You can add cheese to it if you're really feeling unhealthy.

Portions were huge and very very tasty. I had the goulash and my brother had the original schnitzelwich for lunch, and we were both full for the rest of the day. The owner was incredibly friendly and chatted to us about prague and the Czech Republic while we waited for our food. Reasonable prices.

Having just returned from a European visit, we were interested in trying this, as we had spent some time in Prague. Well worth it! I had the original schnitzelwich, wife had the pork special. Both wer excellent. Yes, it takes a bit of time (they make everything fresh, no precooked food here, and it was hot and tasty! They do... More

The best food cart in Portland. I love this place. I have returned on both my trips to the city. The guy who runs it is really friendly. I love the mushroom soup and the eggplant schnitzel sandwich the best. very veg friendly.
