I stopped in for dinner here on my first night on the Oregon coast. Well fried cod and shrimp, fresh cole slaw and decent fries. The chowder was very good as well. The service was perfect - friendly and fast and both servers seemed like...they really enjoyed the place. A great first fish and chips on my way up the Oregon coast.More

Yippee! We love you right back!! Thank you so much for stopping. Still working thru the minefield of covid, season changes, shortages, high costs (really high), etc.! But we are SO VERY grateful for you, and can't wait for another visit! Tusen Takk!

We've tried the chowder and fish and chips in Port Orford, Bandon and Charleston. I enjoyed the chowder and fish and chips at The Crazy Norwegian the most. Their pie was pretty amazing as well, a generous portion.

The Crazy Norwegian’s Fish and Chips in Port Orford is a must stop on any trip to the southern Oregon Coast! This cute restaurant has cozy indoor dining with the option of sitting outdoors to enjoy the ocean breezes. It is also just a short...walk to Battle Rock Beach, which has stunning ocean views. What about the food, you ask? Amazing! Practically Perfect in every way! 😊 We started off with a basket of lightly fried oysters cooked to perfection. We didn’t think it could get any better, but the fish and chips were so delicious, and the fish tacos were to die for! The homemade sauces were above and beyond the ordinary. We finished off our meal with a slice of homemade marion berry pie topped with ice cream and walked out feeling pleasantly full and more than satisfied. The owner is extremely personable and had friendly interactions with all her guests. I’m not surprised this little fish hut is getting rave reviews, and we promise we’ll be back. Thanks for a great experience, Dianne! It was a delightful visit and meeting Finn was a bonus! P.S. We went to Bandon and ate with some friends. We wanted to enjoy some similar foods, but there was no comparison. Make the trek to Port Orford. It won’t disappoint!More

A short stop along the tour of the Southern Oregon coast is THE place to have lunch. They are famous for their fish and chips and rightfully so. The fish tasted so fresh and the breading was the right thickness and crispness. The homemade tarter...sauce was a delicious compliment. Having been to Cabo for the original Baja style fish taco, I was reluctant to try, but the TCN iteration of the fish taco was delightful. Love the crispy shell and the coleslaw on the fish. Location is everything and TCN is located on the most beautiful part of Port Orford. Grab your meal to go and find a beautiful spot to enjoy your lunch. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and her beautiful German Doodle Finn. You can tell her restaurant is a labor of love and pillar of the Port Orford community. If you plan to be on the Southern Oregon coast, make sure to include Port Orford and The Crazy Norwegians in your plans.More

Been coming here at least once a week while visiting. You can not go wrong with everything on their menu. My particular favorites are the fish and chips (duh) and the fish tacos.
