I was hoping for that perfect Oregon clam chowder and I am sorry to say I was disappointed once again. More potatoes than clams. The fish (minus the chips) was frozen not fresh. The raspberry pie however was delish!

The hamburger at The Crazy Norwegians Fish & Chips is the tastiest I've ever eaten - which is a lot of burgers! For $7 it can't be beat. Also on the menu - fish and chips, salads, chicken strips - and don't leave out the delicious pie! Sides include house made coleslaw or pasta salad. A children's menu is available. Anything... More

Not sure why this restaurant is still in operation. The fish was rubbery, and the oysters were bitter.

Hubby and I had been looking forward to our Crazy Norwegian fish and chips fix since our last trip to the coast from Montana. We won't eat f&c anywhere else along the coast until we've eaten the best here. What the heck happened? We got our two four piece orders to go since we were late to our next stop... More

Well there may be a ton of fried food here, but I had one of the best salmon salads ever. No iceberg lettuce here! Mixed greens with bits of red pepper, onions, shredded carrot, cucumber and tomatoes with a very tasty balsamic Italian dressing on the side (didn't even have to ask for it on the side...it comes they way!).... Sounds like you haven't been in for a while?? We have at least 20 different things that aren't fried, and can grill any of the fish that we use for fish and chips, and also the prawns. If you do ever try the hamburger, you will probably join the ranks of fans-freshly ground beef weekly from a really lean and... More

Ordered the four pieces of fish with chips and coleslaw. Fish was not as tasty as I remember. Quantity was nice but the fish and seasoning seemed bland. Coleslaw dressing much improved since last visit. Will try it again as it used to be my standard of how fish and chips should be.

Thanks for taking the time to write about Crazy's! We haven't changed the fish-either the brand used, the batter, or the seasoning! I hope you will keep on chasing the grail, and I also hope that it will eventually put us back on the top! More

Despite receiving glowing reviews from others, we found the restaurant merely average. Without a waiting area, we had to wait outside for 20 minutes before being seated. Since no tables could seat more than 4, we had to split our family of 6 across separate tables. The wait staff was pleasant although not attentive. They ran out of clam chowder... More

Indeed! We are tiny. We don't have a waiting room. The capital expense to build one is not an option. I can't make the place any bigger, because we don't have the labor pool to add more employees! We can't seat large parties together because there simply isn't room. We try our best to get you side by side! OCCASIONALLY... More

Have been stopping here for years. This time the food was ok but not as good as it used to be. I had a fish and shrimp combo. The shrimp was very good, the fish was really bland, the French fries were mediocre and the tartar sauce did not taste like any tartar sauce I've ever had before, I didn't... More

I am very sorry you had such a mediocre experience! As far as the food goes, the recipes haven't changed a bit in the last 14 years. About 95% of our customers LOVE the tartar, but those last few REALLY hate it. We can always substitute one of the many other homemade sauces that we make! I really like our... More

This restaurant provides delicious food in a eclectic setting. Wine prices are very reasonable and the variety is wide ranging. Recommend highly!

Thanks for coming down to the fish hut! Yes, we have a great selection of wines that are priced really low! I want people to drink the wine! We can also sell bottles to go if you ever would like one. More
