We were in Port Orford for two nights and we ate here twice. Liked it so much the first time we came back the next day. The fish and chips are unbeatable!

This place definitely lives up to its trip advisor reviews, but be warned, this place is very small and seemingly always busy. We came with 4 adults and 2 small children, and they were able to squeeze us in on two separate tables. I had their chowder and their cod fish and chips (halibut isn't on the menu). The chowder... The only reason I didn't rate it 5 (excellent) was the due to the wait time for our food. You can expect to wait to be seated, and that was almost to the minute what we were quoted. The staff are very friendly and fun loving! The food was delicious, especially the Razzleberry pie Ala-mode. Very fun place to visit... More

My crazy Norwegian and I blasted past this little place about two years ago on our way home and said "we've got to come back and try the food!" So we did and were not at all disappointed. We both are Pacific Northwest born and raised so we know good, fresh seafood and Crazy Norwegian has good, fresh seafood. The... More

Thanks for bringing us a CRAZY! I so appreciate your kind words and the time it took to write this thoughtful review. I am also happy we were able to get you in and fed quickly, not gonna lie, sometimes in the summer it is a slower process than most would like. More

Anyone motoring up or down Highway 101 and looking for that authentic fish dinner could do no better than call in at the Crazy Norwegian. Shrimps, cod or chowder there is no better place to enjoy the pick of the Pacific than here. The milkshakes are served chilly and tasty with the overflow kept in a can for a do-it-yourself... More

Headed south with family and needed to find lunch. Great little place and the food was amazing. The inside is small and can't seat any group over 4 with out having to sit at two tables. I had the bacon cheese burger and my son had the fish and chips. Service was ok and the price was an average of... More

Busy place, but worth the wait. Clam chowder was yummy, & the fresh rock fish fish& chips were also pretty good.

Thank you for stopping! I sometimes get local fish on Thursdays, so glad you were able to try the rockfish (snapper, black rockfish, red rockfish, etc. etc)depends on which boat, which fish it really is! Our chowder is awesome, made daily with a whole lot of attention and ingredients! More

Too bad most offerings are fried. Good fresh tasting cod fish. And not egregiously expensive. Like the decor :-) Very pleasant. It may sometimes be the only place open in town! Day we were there there was only a bar/grill open across street. That was it, except for supermarket! It can get busy, so come early.

Glad we were open! Just so others know, if we are closed, there is another restaurant called Agates that stays open until 12 midnight or so-sandwiches, pizza and other delicious items that go with drinking! We offer many things that aren't fried-just ask! More

The place was packed but was well worth the wait! We have sampled chowder all down the coast and by far the best we have had so far! And such a good feel to it. Felt like family while we were there!

We were passing through and hit town about dinner time. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. There was a 25 minute wait but well worth it. We had the fish and chips, coconut shrimp, and regular shrimp plate. All delicious! Desserts are homemade and fantastic! A must stop if you're in the... More
