Little, small town kind of place. Our server was pleasant and came back several times to re-fill water glasses 👍 My husband had a cheeseburger that he reported as “good.” Plenty of fries. I wasn’t particularly hungry so ordered the “Grilled Cheese Sandwich.” The menu...should say “Toasted” cheese sandwich since the texas toast bread was Toasted!More

I have been up and down the Oregon Coast many times over the years, eating fresh seafood any chance I get! And this is, by far, my favorite! Oh my goodness, my mouth is watering as I type this, just thinking about their food! My...first visit was in March of 2021 and I have returned three more times- one time traveling from Bandon JUST to have lunch here! Truly, the best.... the best scallops and calamari I have EVER eaten! Everything is perfectly seasoned, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection... And the best part is that there are options for my husband who is sadly allergic to seafood. Yay! A little hole in the wall, off the beaten path, and 100% worth a visit... again and again!More

The gas station attendants steered us here and for the most part we were glad they did. I ordered one of the samplers. The scallops were perfectly cooked, as was everything else. The calamari sticks were just right too. The breading is barely there -...enough for a crunch which was the perfect amount. One negative - I don't know if it was because we arrived shortly after 2 small families or not but our lunch ended up taking a much, much longer time than it should have (close to 2 hours). I know staffing is an issue for most hospitality locations. The staff was super nice and had to be so very patient with the 2 families (as did we).More

Fish and chips. Average - slightly fishy. Good Cole slaw average fries. Very basic tables outside, staff was very nice - fun to watch the fisherman working on their boats.

My husband and I had dinner at Griff's today. This was our second visit since the ownership change. We were both disappointed. Scallops were a bit rubbery, fish had an off taste and fries were coated with something. ( I am not a fan of...coating fries with anything). Their coating is average and all fish is fried. Just isn't worth the money, $50 or therabouts, with a basic drink and average tip. Service was satisfactory. Atmosphere is so so. Dirty towel left out on table next to us and big trash can and dirty dish cart loaded in plain view. they could do better. We won't be returning.More

We went to the dock to see the dolly lift and found this little darling place. The prices were good, $14 for 2 pc. fish and chips and it came with plenty of food. Good coleslaw, I got the crab and cheese sammie and it...was excellent! Full of great fresh real crab meat. You can get a cup of clam chowder instead of fries for a $2 add on, which suits me fine since I'm not a big fries person. Everything was fresh and hot, and delicious. The staff were so friendly and I asked how much a coke was and she told me, but didn't even charge us because they were so nice! I even got a refill to go. The place is quaint and well worth the visit. The only thing I could say that I would have liked was more clams in the chowder and maybe some celery in it, but the flavor was good.More

On a recent road trip I wanted to grab a quick bite on the waterfront. Located on a working pier, Griff's has a wonderful view of the sea. This is no tourist spot, as you'll see when you drive down to the pier. Signs warn...that it is for fisherman but those wanting to go to Griff's are welcome. Griff is basically a shack. There is indoor seating, but the few people who were there sat on the picnic tables outdoors or on one of the cement barriers above the sea. The raw oysters were delicious as were there fried clam strips and clam chowder. Service is terrific. Ambience seaworthy!More

On the west coast we’re spoiled with fresh seafood but this place is great. Oysters were amazing—freshest I’ve had since buying directly from a diver. The prawns and scallops were also great, lightly battered and fried. My wife loved the crab as well. It’s a...tiny quirky place, so you’re wise to call on your way if you want a table. Otherwise takeout was popular but the place closed early the night we were there, so get there early. Bonus—a customer announced that he spotted a whale just beyond the dock.More

We go there often. Today the restaurant was surrounded by crab pots and boats getting ready to fish after the big storm. Fantastic food and about the best place to wander around at sunset that you can imagine. Small place with cozy atmosphere and the...nicest staff you can imagine.More

They both have great seafood classics but Griffs has a better view and is more of a sit down style eatery. Crazy Norwegian has an outdoor table but it is along the highway. They also close earlier. However I think either is... More
