I don't think you could ask for better views! They have award winning beers, although most were not what I'm into. Mostly IPAs and stout and were out of a few others. Food was good. I skipped lunch to have the sticky toffee cake and it was killer! Worth a visit for the views and staff alone.

We didn't want to wait for a table (15-20 minutes), so we got seats at the bar right away. We ordered chowder (yum) and spelt grain bread (ok when dipped in the chowder), and received our food quickly. We had a nice view of all the folks climbing the huge dune, and could see the ocean waves as well. Prices... More

This is a worthy 4 mile detour off of the 101. Excellent chowder and truly delicious beers. Most times when you have a tasting flight of beers in a brewery you hope to find one or two but at Pelican your problem will be how to choose from all the delightful brews. Food is good but the beer is better!

It's a popular place, especially at dinner hour on Labor Day weekend. That said, we arrived about 5 PM and had no trouble being seated. Staff was courteous, food was well-prepared. It's typical pub grub which was just fine with our party of 6 adults and 5 children. It's our "go to" place in Pacific City, meaning multiple visits, which... More

Love this place! View cannot be beat, but the beer & food are pretty amazing. Ordered the house made Mac n Cheese paired with their Umbrella IPA -- probably one of the best lunches I've had! Our server was excellent as well. Very knowledgeable about the beers & eats plus gave us spot on directions & advice about a local... More

The beer is great but expensive. The food is mediocre and very expensive. We also went for breakfast as we had a package deal from our hotel and the breakfast was even more pricey. Service was good but slow preparation time for meals.

A very popular place but worth waiting for if necessary. Friendly staff, excellent beers, great food. Right on the beach next to a haystack rock.

So I had the fish tacos with quinoa salad. It was really good, and perfect for a late lunch. We sat inside, only because the outside tables were in such demand that the wait would be too long. I would definitely go here again.

Cape Kiwanda is a great place to meet new folks! After climbing to the top, seeing whales, and exploring the top of the cape, the next best thing is to stop on by Pelican Pub and relax with new found friends over a taster tray of beer and excellent food. As a gluten free person, a pub atmosphere can be... More

We stopped here for lunch at the recommendation of our Air Bnb host. The beer was good, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend the tri-tip sandwich and the fish tacos! The clams appetizer in in a broth so delicious you will want to drink it straight out of the bowl. Beautiful views of the pacific coast as well!... More
