Location and contact

This is where it all started back in 1996. Envisioned by three inspired founders, a little run-down beachfront building began its transformation into the international icon it is today. The only beachfront brewpub in the Pacific Northwest, this inviting establishment welcomes guests with tantalizing beer cuisine, intimate brewery tours and, arguably, the most incredible beach patio experience around. Gaze in awe at Oregon’s largest Haystack Rock. Watch the surfers. See the sun set. Order another beer.

We both enjoyed our beers. We each had the clam chowder and a salad. Chowder was excellent as was the salad. Service is very fast, and friendly. We sat at the bar, as 2 seats opened up as we were adding our names to the...More

Love the beer but the food was overpriced and not so good. The Beek Breaker Double IPA is awesome! It's nice sitting on the patio overlooking the beach and people watching.

Since I try to eat vegan meals when going out, I was able to substitute my beef burger for a black bean vegie burger. I was a bit disappointed that it looked like the Costco brand of burger (I recognized the pattern around the edges...More

So bummed! We’ve here many times over the years since they first opened and loved it. Unfortunately, think they’ve gotten too successful and outgrown what made this place so special. Prices have skyrocketed while quality and good service have all but disappeared. So disappointed and...More

Recently went there for lunch. Ordered the Pale Malt Salmon and fish and chips. The salmon was kinda thin and sat on a bed of sweet potato quinoa cake, with side of nearly burnt brussel sprouts. The sweet potato cake was neither sweet or tasty...More

So the waitstaff was fantastic and the ambiance all kinds of fun. Good beer, mediocre food. Would order the calamari again. Sent back the cuippino; old fish and previously frozen potatoes in a flat tomato sauce. (Potatoes in cioppino? Please no!.) Fish and chips ok....More

The staff was friendly and surprisingly quick but the food was overpriced for the quality, I've had better food for my dollar. We had the fish and chips and Dungeness crab mac and cheese, they both tasted Very Bland it was nothing special or memorable....More

Seated in a good spot with great views of the beach. Waitress was awesome! Provided us several samples of different beers we wanted to try. Food was good. A bit pricey but it is the beach. Blackened chicken linguini was tasty. Burgers wings etc. Nice...More

Food was great and the view was even better. Get there before sunset and watch it from the beach or deck of the Pelican.

Dogs are not allowed on the patio but they did seat us on the perimeter so our dog could be right next to us but off the patio.

I would say abit pricey. 2 adults 2 kids 90usd for salads and burgers not t-bone steaks.... Especially overpriced with respect to the interior and furniture.
