Mixed feelings but...overall...pretty good

No one there when we first arrived, but a large birthday party brought our food delivery to a virtual halt. The food is very good, just don't go there if you're in a hurry. This was not our first time, and we came back, so we must like it! Our server did his best to accommodate the children in... read more

What a lovely small restaurant with nice atmosphere, superb service, and most of all perfect food. Something for everyone is offered, and the perfect place for a romantic evening or just a night out with friends who want to share great food.

The place was empty when we came, but filled up for lunch. we were first to order and last to get food. the waitress took our order without a pencil, which is probably why we didn't get it first. I got a burger, blue cheese, medium well which gave me indigestion all night. My friends got fried local fish, which... More

If you are looking for tacos, burgers, and nachos, this is not your place. If you are looking for entrees that rival some of Portland's best restaurants, this is the place; the food is fantastic. Plus it has an eight page, extensive wine list. Service was very attentive and the ambiance is perfect for a quiet evening with your spouse.... More

PROBABLY WON'T BE BACK! I have posted very positive reviews in the past, but things have changed!! The last TWO visits have been a major disappointment! The bartender was less than energetic and did not even know how to make the cocktail special that was on the blackboard. As far as food... The pork chop special was a little overlooked,... More

Our experience at this restaurant was totally spoiled by the length of time it took for service and the food was adequate but overpriced.

Our favorite restaurant on the Oregon Coast by a mile. The crab cakes are perfectly moist, made with nutty dungeness crab and no cheap filler, served with a side of greens because any sauce would be a shame to this recipe. The Asian bouillabaisse is phenomenal, each piece of fish cooked perfectly and not, as so often experienced, overdone; a... More

Very few people when we arrived at 6 on a Saturday night. We were not plated with our food until 7:45. Absolutely unacceptable. Asked two different servers what the reason was for the excessive wait. Got two different answers. "We're European style". Having traveled multiple times in Europe, perhaps the waiter should travel there before making an incorrect comparison. Second... More

Good food but apparently had a novice waitress who served our bottle of Riesling room temperature and mixed up a few of our entrées' accompaniments. Will probably return at some point and hope for a different server.

We decided that since the reviews were mixed we would give this place a chance. We made reservations through Open Table. This was not necessary since it was not busy at all. Despite this fact we were there for over an hour and never even got our salad. The staff was so frazzled and disorganized it was uncomfortable just being... More
