Very nice place for a light lunch. Had a chicken quesadilla with potato salad and the clam chowder. They also serve wraps and sandwiches. They were cooking turkey in the oven for use on the wraps and sandwiches. There were several salads in the deli case. Loved having lunch inside the bookstore. This gives you a nice option right off... More

I was staying at the Itty Bitty Inn and decided to walk down to the cafe. I had a wonderful chat with the owner while enjoying coffee and a homemade muffin straight from the oven. Support the local economy and enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation.

We were driving thru the area in mid-afternoon, just checking it out. I was starting to get very hungry and had a craving for soup. I randomly picked the cafe off of google maps, as it was close-by. I was happy to see easy parking in their own lot, which wasn't available in other parts of the town. So adorable-... More

Great service, AWESOME coffee selection and super friendly staff! What's not to love about being surrounded by books and great food? - This cafe could be my home-away-from-home! My wife and I ate the chicken panini and had a masala chai - both were SUPERB! The food was clean, fresh DELICIOUS and sourced locally. I was happy to learn that... More

Great ice coffee. They also have white coffee beans that have double the caffeine of regular coffee. I don't live here, wish it was a chain so i could get their coffee other places.

We have discovered this little gem after living in the area for almost three years. I love homemade soups and this café has the best in the area. Many of the employees are past and present students from the local Culinary School. Everything is fresh and tasty. The owner Chris is friendly. Very comfortable spot to pick up a bite... More

I tried the soup and sandwich combo. The soup was a creamy potato that was clearly made fresh and the chicken salad sandwich equally delicious. Great CHAI too!

A treasure in downtown North Bend,Or.The Grounds is inside the bookstore on the Eastside of 101 as you enter downtown North Bend. The soups are homemade ,two flavors to choose from daily.I really like the breakfast burittos and crousants but the lunch sandwiches are good as well. The homemade cookies are worth the stop as well.Everything is a great value and... Sorry, but the Grounds has closed. BUT the store it was in is still there and it is a book store. It is very good and they are supportive and helpful. They also credit paper back books that you buy there, for half price.
