We settled for the hotel restaurant since we got back from playing on the beach late. The setting is nice right on the beach. The staff is friendly. I really liked the chowder but the rest of my meal was very mediocre. The prawns were small and overcooked, and the potatoes were overdone as well. I enjoyed my kid's French... More

The view and staff were nice. They accommodated our large group of singles with single checks. But the "fondue" was horrible. Salt did not help. To further the insult, the wonderful sour dough loaf slices were saturated in fake butter. It had the consistency of a fondue but I couldn't taste any cheese or mustard or anything that was in... Peek a boo views of the ocean. Plenty of tables and booths to view from. The restaurant is quiet and relaxing. Hostess brought me my drink immediately, followed by the waitress who was efficient, pleasant and timely. The food was hot and tasty and I couldn't finish my plate. There was a lot of food for your money. Prices were... More

We decided to have breakfast at the Starfish Grill because we were staying at the Best Western and we had a $10.00 food credit for the restaurant or bar. My husband had the special which was biscuits and gravy with eggs. He said it was good. I had the Bagel with Smoked Salmon. I thought that it was going to... More

Our family had five different dinners and all of them were very good. With the restaurant being inside the hotel, we used the room service option instead of going to the dining room. Crab Louie, Chowder, Crisp Chicken Salad, Fish & Chips, and Pulled Pork Sliders. Every dish was fresh and good. Prices no higher than any other hotel restaurant.... More

We stayed at the Agate Beach Best Western last year and enjoyed their Thanksgiving buffet. The year before that, we spent Thanksgiving at the Seaside Best Western that is owned by the same people. Anyway, we knew better what to expect and choose the buffet choices more wisely. Dungeness crab, smoked fish and oysters besides the traditional turkey and ham... More

We went to the Starfish because we stayed at the Best Western and didn't want to hop in the car and go into town. It was warm and comfortable and certainly good enough and worth the price. The salmon was ok while the mashed potatoes and veggies were outstanding. I think it would have a nice view during the day... More
