Still super clam chowder. We get it in a sourdough bread bowl and it is a filling meal. Kids get a complimentary plastic shark with Mo's imprinted on it. No view, just good food.

This is WAY overrated. The chowder was overpowered with the bacon flavor. The tablespoon of melted butter on top of the chowder was pretty gross too. The cod fish & chips were like chicken tenders and chewed like it too. They were breaded in bread crumbs or something hard and thick and they were not tender. The service was ok.... More

You have to try Mo's famous clam chowder in a bread bowl! They are the bomb we eat at Mo's every time we visit Newport. Always get a big container to take home with us so we can warm up with their delicious chowder and remember the memories of the beach while its cold and snowing outside.

Mo's and her clam chowder has been a local legend for many years. The quality of the food is not what it was 10 years ago. During the summer season you can expect a possible longg wait.

Agree with other contributors that service is slow, but it's the beach. Our out of town guests loved the clam chowder and seafood. We try to always stop at Mo's.

Friends recommend this place and said you can't miss out on the clam chowder. We were disappointed. It was very think with mostly potatoes, loads of butter, bits of bacon and you could barely taste the clam flavor. The fish and chips were also okay. The food at Georgies (including the clam chowder) is way better!

Mo's follows the tradition of many excellent Oregon Coast eateries that are unpretentious and "come as you are" while serving the freshest seafood in a variety of ways at very reasonable prices. Coming from the Midwest, my wife and I never thought we'd get tired of so much great seafood but after five straight days of fresh Pacific Cod, Halibut... More

Service is slow..yes it was a little busy, but if that's the norm, then have more staff or figure out a more efficient system. I'm a staff accountant now, but I worked as a waitress while I was in college and thought this place was super inefficient. Food was terrible. Tastes like frozen seafood bought at the grocery store and... More

We try this restaurant about every 5 years and still can't understand why there is always a long line. The fish tastes like it is pre breaded and frozen, the chowder tastes like flour and water with a little milk. People wait to get in at almost any time. We keep hoping the food gets better but it never does.... More
