Mo's built their reputation on excellent clam chowder...and it is well deserved. Service was good, not excellent. Atmosphere was noisy but not painful.

When I went here it was not at rush hour and were seated immediately. I ordered calamari and it came with a bowl of their clam chowder. Although I am not a fan of clam chowder, Mo's became an exception. The chowder base was smooth and it provided a great contrast for the tender clams. Although the atmosphere was a... More

The food and service was good, but the Clam Chowder was not great. The chowder had too much potato and not enough clam meat and the soup base was just so so. I would recommend staying away from the chowder and focus on the other entrees such as grilled Cod and fish and chips. Also, add on some fresh onion... More

I love going to Mo's. They have the best chowder around. My family had never been to this one. We waited for a while for someone to seat us as they were cramming everyone into one area. Servers seemed nice but were very busy. If you can, wait to go to some of the other Mo's location. This one isn't... More

For the long lines and wait times I expected amazing food. The clam chowder was good, but the next day we went further down the street and they're clam chowder knocked Mo's out of the park. I ordered the fish and chips upgrading to the halibut. The batter was spongy and I had to peel it away to eat the... More

I love the Scumgullion--shrimp in clam chowder. Pats of butter still melting in the bowls of soup as they are delivered. Delicious shrimp cocktails, just another day at Mo's. This one is the original Mo's. The one that started it all. Old style character and good chowder.

Mo's annex has seating by the window so you can watch activity in the bay. We saw sea lions. The food was great, and the waiter was attentive.

Mo's is famous for it's seaside cuisine, but I have to say it's not really all that great. I've been here several times in different locations, and haven't been impressed. Not only is the food sub par, but the wait to get in is ridiculous. It's not worth it. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Really friendly staff, ice cold beer and great chowder. There was a small wait for a table and the place is popular.

There are Mo's locations all along the coast but we waited to go to the original. It is definitely crowded, popular and a tourist trap. The food was mediocre at best. High quality it is not.
