My family and I had visited Mo's in Florence a couple of days before and our family enjoyed it so much we thought we'd give the Mo's in Newport a visit. The food was great again. Started off with the clam chowder again (if it ain't broke don't fix it). Again the same consistent high quality we had in Florence... More

Mo's is a long standing tradition on the Oregon coast. Expect a long wait for average food. Their chowder has changed (not for the best) over the years. It used to be creamy, tasty, and full of clams... now it is like wallpaper paste and tastes like potato soup not clams! I think they are so busy they have reduced... More

We had a to go order so we could watch the activities happening around the bay area. The order was correct and packaged better than most restaurants i've had carry out orders from in the past. Their Chowder is awesome and a must have when visiting any of the Mo's locations.

Very fresh tasting seafood. The fish tacos and the house Rogue beer both exceeded our expectations. Kid friendly and all kid meals comes with a little toy shark. Kept my nephew entertained during dinner. Clam chowder was the best so far as well!

We had a 40 minute wait, but Mo's has installed a software system that tracks where you are on the list and generates a text message when you're table is ready. Very nice. And, of course, perfect chowder.

We had their clam chowder (too thick and not tasty) and fried oysters (not bad but not memorable). This is a tourist restaurant and often has long lines for not memorable food.

We have been here a few times over the past 18 months, and it's consistently good. The clam chowder is top notch, and the seafood is fresh and cooked a number of ways, that would satisfy anyone... The service is always good, no matter how busy it is, which not all places can say. This 'original' location is smaller than... More

Good food , great service. If you go on a weekend you will have wait to get a table. It is on a beach where the view is really good

Was really disappointed by my Mo's visit. Yeah, it was crowded but give at least basis customer service. For such an old establishment I expect they know how to run a restaurant. Chowder is not the best. Got this crab and shrimp dip that was disgusting, really overcooked and pulverized. I could not believe they served this. It was obviously... More

Mo's Chowder is world famous and the best on the Oregon Coast. Wait times are usually 10 to 20 minutes but they can get worse during peak times. We've waited as long as an hour for Mo's food and since we're not the only ones waiting I can say it's worth the wait. Oh yeah the fish and chips are... More
