Wednesday night around 9 o’clock and it felt like a kindergarten. Kids running around and screaming. The beers were tasty and there were enough to choose from. Not as many as in Rogue Portland though. Good selection of bombers of course but drinking a bomber all by myself in a brewpub is not something I prefer. Service was friendly and... More

We have ate here many times and never had any problems. The staff is usually friendly and the food is fairly good. Can get a little loud but it is in a tight space.

Great local pub and restaurant - excellent beer selection - seating inside and for sunny days they also have an outdoor patio where you can take your dog. When busy services is slow - seems they do not have sufficient staff when the restaurant gets full. No worries - enjoy another beer

A little pricey for what you get. Guess the beer should be your focus when you come in here. I ordered a rueben and paid the extra $2 to substitute a salad for fries. Sandwich was cold. Salad was average. On the plus side, I had the best glass of root beer ever. Busy place.

Stopped in for a second visit after a ten year gap. Well it didn't improve. My husband said both of the IPA beers that he tried were just OK. The pear drink that I tried was so bad I sent it back. Settled for a glass of wine since I do not drink beer. The setting is run down and... More

Really enjoyed the fresh beer. Nothing fancy at the ale house which makes it have its own charm. Many different types of great fresh beer to enjoy.

I've been to most of the Rogue Pubs... This was by far the worst. It was a cool day in Sept. - and they had the front (barn) doors wide open - it was freezing inside. There is NO place to park out on that dock, but I lucked out - someone was just leaving. I had a beer and... More

The chile was excellent; the Rueben was excellent; the fries were excellent: but they no longer serve the KOBE HOT DOGS or any anyother kind of hot dog. The beer selectionis overwhelming. The waiter was bit overwhelmed, because he was the only staff working the bar and tables.

We stopped in here because it was closest to the parking spot we found and we were starving! Very good choice. We were on the late side of lunchtime but the service was good and we were not rushed. The food was pub style but very good. We would definitely return. Newport is a lovely town and we hope to... More

Rogue Ales Public House, originally named the Bayfront Brewery, was established in May of 1989. Rogue brewed its Ales within the Bayfront Brewery until 1992, when "Howard", the 15 barrel brew system was carried across the Newport Bay to the current location. The old brewery was converted into a poolroom which the locals call the Crustacean Stacean. Outside seating and 35 taps
