Went there after looking over the reviews and we were not that impressed. My husband's scallops were good but I ordered the fresh halibut and it was way overcooked and dry.

Great restaurant, beautifully decorated with table clothes along with attentive staff. Extensive menu offering appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, fish, meat and veggie entrees. Everything is made on the premises including the bread for the sandwiches. I had a cup of home made chicken gumbo soup that was incredible along with a smoked turkey sandwich with havarti cheese and a cranberry... More

We went to Subterra to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We totally enjoyed the experience. The staff is friendly and know their stuff. The food is great and priced reasonable.

My business partner and I dropped in mid week to this restaurant there were several open tables but we were informed that "all of our tables were spoken for" We then asked to sit and counter and then the bar gal said she would need to check with the kitchen and if we were ok with having our meals be... Four girlfriends visiting Willamette Valley for a birthday celebration. We stopped for dinner our last night in town and each had a delicious meal. Our server Brian could not have been more pleasant and attentive. Large portions and very affordable.

During happy hour food was served at the bar only. We tried the Clams Puttanesca, sausage of the day (Cajun) and melted brie with maple syrup and figs. All excellent! Moscow Mule served in a copper cup and the "wine pour" of the evening went well with our meal. Bartender was pleasant and helpful. Soft lighting. This is downstairs, not... More

We have been here before, but this past week we popped in for Happy Hour. The small plates are $2 off, house wines, $2 off and beer $1 off. The port and spaetzle small plate is so good and easily shared with one more. We also enjoyed the smoked salmon spread....and had to take it home after eating the spaetzle... More

We went to this restaurant as a group of 8, and everything we ordered was delicious, the service very good, the atmosphere very nice, and the pricing very reasonable. Between the 8 people, we had braised shortrib, salmon, halibut, and a shoulder steak - all were delicious. Each meal comes with soup, salad and sides. We will definitely return!

Great ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff. Subterra has a french or small feel to their restaurant. Fresh local ingredients, great wine list, incredible food, and great presentation. Add this restaurant to your list!! My favorite items on the menu are the potato wrapped halibut or the seared scallops for dinner. Lunch I recommend the Cuban pork sandwich or The... More

Thank you so much for your fabulous review of Subterra. It was our pleasure to participate in your excellent experience. However, the pictures you posted are not of our restaurant or our food! (although the bicycle-themed bathroom is uber cute!). More
