Sorry to say, the bomber's day have come and gone. Milwaukie has a lot to see but this is no longer one of them. Over the years, it went away piece by piece and now there's nothing left! But, you can tour an old diesel USN submarine at OMSI just a few miles down on the same road!

Not sure what the food was like before they took the plane away, but it's now an average restaurant; good food but no stand-outs, good service always. However, do go for the ambiance and probably the best restaurant coffee around, not the typical weak black water, but hardy and robust, so much so that we asked for the brand, bought... More

Service is always friendly. There is an "historical atmosphere" since it was started by a gentleman who was in WWII and started the gas station with a WWII bomber.

We used to go to the bomber all the time when we lived close. Having moved to Nevada and again visiting in the Portland area we decided to go there for lunch. Nothing much as changed except the old WW2 bomber is now gone. As for the food it was as good as always. Didn't happen to be there in... More

This place is great for breakfast. They have great selection and great service. The old decor is cool to look at as well. A definite recommend for a quick and hearty meal.

Employees were nice, the waitress was wasted and every time she came back to our table the alcohol smell stayed longer. But she was nice except having any concern of how bad our steaks were. I had a ribeye that was very thin and mostly fat, my mom had the New York steak and was only able to eat close... More

The restaurant seating is very comfortable, the food is always awesome, and it's easy to carry on a conversation without hearing the other conversations going on in the dinning room .

Had I not read about "Bomber" on Travel Advisor, I most certainly would have passed it on by, for there is nothing appealing about the exterior of the restaurant. The food, however, was very good. Like home cooked meals, the portions were large. I had the pork chop, and it was seasoned deliciously and was still very juicy. The homemade... More
