Valentines dinner: disappointed in the cooking and lack of selections. The menu described appetizer and dessert choices but it turns out that a couple can only choose one and must share.

Service was good. I had tried their food several times before and was looking forward to an above average meal. Food was only adequate, cold. The restaurant seems to have some help issues. The waitress was very good but spread thin.

Six of us had a delicious dinner & evening. Great variety of choices on the menu and everyone of us enjoyed our meal. It became a little noisy later on due to a large group in the center of the restaurant but since we arrived at 5:15, we were able to have pleasant conversation for most of the meal. The... More

The food here is very good! However, if you're trying to get out to a play at the Craterian Theater, you may end up taking your food to go (as we had to do). We thought we had planned plenty of time with a 5:30 dinner reservation and a play at 7:30. Unfortunately, the food wasn't ready and we had... More

Had a great meal last night. Our waitress, Katrina, was pleasant and attentive. But the real star turned out to be the bartender, John. Not sure if that's his real title, since he seemed to be everywhere. He discovered our love of wines and gave some perfect choices. I talked them into making a lobster mac and cheese that was... We did a spur of the moment dinner for just the two of us. They had some help issues but we were not in a hurry. I think the shed was by himself because we spent the whole evening there with a nice glass of wine and various courses. Normally dinner is ready pretty quickly. Make reservations ahead.

Pomodori states that groups must be 8 or less, but they were kind enough to accommodate a group of 11 of us for lunch. Only 3 other tables were occupied during our service. 10 of us all opted for salads, which were delicious. We knew we were straining the kitchen with our group size, but we were a bit surprised... Jeff the owner does a wonderful job of making sure his patrons are satisfied. He can be relied on for candid guidance on menu and wine selections. The specials are "special." Downtown location is very good for all entertainment. Call ahead and get advice on convenient fee restaurant parking; downtown parking can be a challenge on theater and event weekends.

I had pasta and my husband had ravioli. Delicious. Great menu with lots of wonderful food and wine options. Casual, friendly and reasonably priced. Perfect first dinner experience in Portland. Recommended to us by our B and B - The White House. Walkable nice area too. Highly recommend and wish we had one near our house!

Description
Great local bistro that has been doing a great
lunch and dinner business
here in medford since 2008. We specialize in
northern style cooking with our own northwest
flair. Using local ingredients when we can.
We have the largest local wine selection in the area. And also one of the first to have local really quality red and white wines on tap as well.
