I am so in love with this place... really unique burgers - you will find one to fit any taste or diet restriction. I sat on their patio on the hottest day of the year getting first rate service and sipping pinot gris. My server was so kind even though she’d run around all day in the heat wearing a mask. I can’t wait to take my boyfriend here...

Jasper’s is a diamond in the rough

The area is not known for fine dining options, and frankly we are fine with that, but Jasper’s was a cut above. It’s an unassuming little pit stop along 377 between Tolar and Stephenville, and the quaint interior hides an impressive little burger menu with decidedly sophisticated options. We went on a Saturday evening, apparently during a small lull, with most tables open. We were greeted immediately by a friendly waitress who took drink and appetizer orders and happily answered menu questions and made recommendations. Orders arrived promptly and everything was very good. All of us were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was, and the interesting burger toppings worked well in every case. My order, the Real Lone Ranger, was a good balance of salty, mildly spicy, and a touch of sweet from the raspberry chipotle jelly, onion ring, pepper jack, and jalapeño cream cheese. Grab napkins - it was messy but worth experiencing every last drip. All tables quickly filled - no surprise. We chatted for a while and were never pressured to leave (but were also cognizant that never was someone waiting for our table). Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Give Jasper’s a try!

Forget the chain burger joints! This is the best in the Rogue valley.

When I want a great burger and sweet potato fries, this is the place I go. They are definitely a cut above the chain gang guys with a great tasting burger and fries. Grab a table because it's usually crowded and just enjoy the cozy atmosphere or sit outside in the summer and enjoy a little corner of the Rogue valley. The wait staff is friendly and so are the cooks. If you're traveling through on I-5, it's not far off the freeway and you won't be disappointed.

Lunch for you and 100 of your fly friends

I was expecting more given the solid rating on TA. I was disappointed. We sat out on the patio which was the better choice. Located in the shade of some trees right next to a busy thoroughfare, it was not much for pleasantries. Paper towel napkins by the roll unfurled in the strong breeze, and their flapping tails did nothing to deter the flies. With burgers served on paper plates, I would was surprised there were no fly strips to be found. Milkshakes were mostly mixed and the remaining chunks of vanilla ice cream had numerous ice crystals. My burger was tasty but served lukewarm on a bun that was still chilled from storage. The wife had better luck with her pastrami sandwich but both of us had to eat and run, not only to escape the flies but also because the meal took over 30 minutes to appear and we did not want to dally any longer. The waiter did comp our shakes for the slow food prep, which was nice of him. Inside was small and smells like a wet ski lodge. A nice family run shack but if this is the penultimate of Medford dining, I’m eating elsewhere next time.

Finally went there....

Been reading reviews about Jaspers for awhile but since we don’t eat many burgers going there wasn’t a priority. But we finally got the urge and thought we’d go and find out if it lived up to the platitudes it received in the many reviews. It did! The people that work there are extremely friendly and..happy to be there which is always a good sign. Simply said if you are in the mood for a burger, in its infinite varieties ( camel, kangaroo for the adventurous) you can’t do better. Their sides: chili, fries, etc. are also excellent. In short Jaspers lives up to its lofty reputation.

Definitely worth the stop if you're hungry for a good hamburger

Meat choices: beef, bison, elk, or kangaroo ... and there were vegan burgers. Extraordinary range of options including some too daring for me to try (such as the one with peanut butter and marionberry chipotle) ... also had sandwiches. Only downside is that it's right on a busy street; the outdoor seating is otherwise pleasant, and there is indoor seating. Would be great to take the burgers to a nearby park (if there is one) ... Great service too!

Had a fantastic meal! Great unique burgers, delicious veggie burger and sandwich options. Offer local craft beers. The employees were some of the most outgoing and anxious to please people I have ever met.

The husband and I had lunch at Jasper's. They are doing a good job managing the covid restrictions with cleaning and distancing. I had a regular beef burger with bacon, cheddar, grilled onions and bbq sauce. It was excellent. The husband had a bison burger which was also very good. All burgers are a la carte so you need to order a side separately. We split an order of sweet potato fries and they were delicious. Jasper's has a big list of milkshakes / malts. We split an orange milkshake and it was really good. Service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.

Very disappointed in the service and atmosphere.

We won’t be eating at our favorite restaurant in the future. The employees were playing inappropriate music very loudly. We had a 5 year old and didn’t appreciate him listening to cuss words. It was difficult to have a conversation. Waitresses were dancing. Very poor service Food was still good.

The best burgers ever

We were coming back from vacation and staying at a hotel and needed lunch. We looked up places to eat in Medford and chose this place based on the reviews. The only thing I was not happy about is that you had to pay extra for the fries. Which was very disappointing based on the price of their burgers. That being said, we were served our burgers and were not disappointed. Ours were delicious and hot.

Best lunch stop ever

Passing through Medford we stopped at jaspers for lunch and wow this place is great! What a hidden gem this is. The best burger I have had in years. You absolutely positively have to eat here! Crazy good creative burgers and the best Fry's ever. I am driving back and forth between Washington and California several times a year and this is my new must go to lunch stop. Go there, you will not be disappointed.

New reason to love Australia

I had a kangaroo burger....low carb style with no bun. Unique combo of slaw, pork, cheese, delicious burger. Customer service is outstanding!!! They seriously want you to enjoy the experience! It was busy the entire time I was there. Very small but popular place for a good reason! Waitstaff makes this a 5 star!

Best burger Ever

Just driving through Medford and stopped at Jasper’s. They well exceeded our expectations. I had the Johnny Ringo and although it may be sloppy it was absolutely delicious. My husband had the elk blue grit and he loved it. And to top it off service was friendly accommodating and very efficient.

Jaspers in Medford not the best

We have been to Jaspers many times over the years. Today was a disappointment. The hamburgers were good for sure. The staff was very loud and inappropriately dressed in spandex with thongs. I would highly recommend some kind of dress code. I had to put ear plugs in to be able to sit there. Also, the cost was prohibitive. My husband’s burger was $15.00 with no fries. Next time we will go elsewhere. The waitresses were nice to us when they came to our table.

Nice surprise!

We went for the first time after seeing it was rated #1. It didn’t disappoint.I had the veggie sandwich and it had a lot of flavor. Hubby had the Smokey and the Bandit burger and can’t stop talking about it. Small order of fried onion rings were amazing. Great service too!
