Our group of gals (9) were running late for our reservation. Bistro Mason offered to serve us if we let them choose an assortment of dishes served family style when we arrived. We were quite surprised with the amount of courses...including many selections we would not have tried on our own. Deserts were worth the drive alone! Great service... And... More

Chef Jean-Jacques and his wife Deborah provided the most memorable dinner for our wine tasting group. Deborah and chef Jean-Jacques planned and served the best dinner ever. Barbara was exceptional in describing each dish and the wines she selected for the entire evening. If you are ever near McMinnville, you MUST take the time to eat at their establishment. I... More

We visited this place after wine tasting - based on a recommendation of a shop owner. We weren't disappointed! Lovely patio dining and outstanding Fresh food - we had the gazpacho, caprese salad and pork. Our servers were excellent and brought out 3 different bottles of white for us to choose from (by the glass)! Wished I could have tried... More

Amazing restaurant. Comfortable dining area in what appears to be an old house. The chef accommodated my allergies. They had an amazing vegan Vichyssoise. Definitely a must stop on your trip to the wine country.

six of us dined on our last night in McMinnville after eating our way thru town. This was such a lovely dinner and the patio dining was intimate and fun. Our servers were amazing and the food came out beautiful and on time. Desserts were the crowing glory to celebrate our sister in laws 60th.

We have always enjoyed french bistros for their casual but excellent food, but don't have many to choose from around here. Bistro Maison was a great find. There is a lovely outdoor area in back if weather permits. It's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. We wish we had more room for the tempting desserts.

Was very much looking forward to returning after several years. Left very disappointed. Ordered Mussels with fries as an appetizer. Fries were limp, oil soaked and half of them were less than an inch long. It's like we got all the broken ones at the bottom of a bag of frozen fires. They charge $7 as a side. We sent... More

We wanted to wait a day or two before posting this review...but we are still baffled by our dining experience on Sunday. Figuring things would be busy downtown because of IPNC, we were thrilled we could get reservations for dinner at Bistro Maison. We arrived and were immediately greeted/seated as there were only about 8 other tables filled, and from... More

The Bistro experience was pleasant and unique. The food overall was decent. The service was pretty decent. We are all foodies and are pretty picky about the thumbing. If you're at your local Chilis, it's pretty much a given. When you're paying top dollar for food and it's supposed to be a fine dining experience, you should know better. The... More

A great place to enjoy authentic French cuisine. Great wine list and the owner/manager is a wealth of knowledge on both local and international wines. a special place to visit in the Oregon wine country. We wish we could eat there more often.
