I stopped here for brunch on my way back from the beach. Since I liked the reviews about their french toast, that is what I ordered. It was huge, and delicious. The only drawback was their sausage patty which had an off flavor. However, when I sent it back (after one bite), they quickly brought me slices of crispy bacon... More

This is by far the best place to eat Breakfast in town, bar none. The food is great old fashion home comfort food and you get a lot of for your money. I normally have a big breakfast, but I could have eaten only half of what I go and still be very full.

Food is delicious and very friendly service. The must have for breakfast is the chicken fried steak Olvera or the wildwood French toast depending on your mood. And for lunch for me ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the Spruce Goose. It is all the yummies of a French dip but smothered in grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and topped with Jack cheese and... More

Good food, but a long wait to get a table (you often stand outside in rainy weather). Also, I have experienced a lot of delays in getting coffee refills and service once inside.

I got a table after waiting on line for a few minutes. Was seated at the same time as an impatient four top and even more pushy two top. The restaurant staff had just been thru a crazy rush. I ordered an omelette with cheese bacon mushroom onion. It came with their potatoes and homemade toast. Everything was well prepared... More

Cute signs all over the walls, very likely a line out the door on the weekends, good strong coffee and just good food. Every single time. The waitresses have been there for years and remember you. This is a wonderful place.

Awesome breakfast portions, giant omelettes with fried potatoe rounds, oversized toast with homemade jam and coffee for about ten bucks. The pancakes were the fluffiest I have seen in ages stacked beautifully, no one I saw could finish them. I highly reccomend this stop.

Paraphernalia really makes you feel like you are in small town America. Service was great, unfortunately the hot cakes and scrambled eggs were a little dry. Good portions though!
