We were staying in Manzanita and decided to try them for dinner after reading the reviews. It was a great meal with good service. We appreciated their willingness to prepare prawns for my husband without the coconut. He loved it. My meal was excellent too .

Ate breakfast here twice. The bread is excellent. The food was served a little on the cool side, though.

Looking for a good dinner after late arrival in town.We were turned down at our first choice which ended up being a blessing. Our waiter was very enthusiastic. My husband chose the halibut which he enjoyed and I had the grilled oysters. The oysters was extremely good. My only complaint was the noise.

Must be a popular local spot, all eyes were on us when we walked in! We went for breakfast, menu wasn't extensive, but the food was delicious. We had ham/cheese Omlette, stuffed French toast and spinach and egg dish. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Coffee was very good, better than most breakfast places!

These guys know their seafood! I ate here twice during a recent visit to Manzanita. Pan seared scallops the first time, and crab cakes the second time. Both excellent, and their locally sourced oysters on the halfshell are great as well. A must do for anybody visiting this awesome little beach town.

Nice place with above average service. Had the clam chowder. Ambiance is friendly and food good. This place would be family friendly

My husband and I stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday at around 11am and we had some great seafood. My husband got razor clams and I got the seafood omelet with Chipotle hollandaise. Wow! Lots of fresh crab and bay shrimp and cheese. They also serve sleepy monk coffee. Great service also.

We stopped by here for lunch based solely on the reviews. The food was very average. The service was so bad I almost don't have words. It wasn't just the first waitress that helped us but every person who "helped" us. All very young and inexperienced without a care for what their job was. Too many things wrong to list... More

Man, oh man! We stopped here for breakfast and wasn't disappointed at all! I ordered the eggs benedict with the "chipotle" hollandaisse sauce. Wow! Feels nice to get some spice in my life.

Big Wave Cafe delivers it all. Friendly staff that is kind to locals and travelers alike. Quality food featuring regional flavor. Good overall value. We had a terrific meal here while touring the Oregon coast. My wife declines seafood and enjoyed her prime rib French dip sandwich. My grilled halibut was well executed. Desserts are homemade and ours was terrific.
