We checked Trip Advisor once again, looking for restaurants that served some vegetarian as well as burgers/seafood. The food was fresh and there were so many choices especially for seafood. The Manzanita salad and garden burger were a hit.

Big wave cafe is a fine food establishment conveniently located adjacent to a very attractive Canabis establishment. Most of the clinics are hole in the wall operations but not the Oregon Coast Medical and Recreational Canabis emporium. Hmmm I wonder if there is a co-pay?...More

Right at 101 in Manzanita. Great food and a good Cabernet. We had the Westbrook Cabernet that was really good for a moderately priced Cab. My wife had the Scallops that were very good. The Fried Oyster appetizer was really good and the oysters were...More

I missed the boat on this seafood restaurant. There is some pretense of superiority about this eatery that I clearly am missing. It's called a "cafe" and I'm good with that. Bare bones atmosphere, institutional grade tables and booths, exactly what you'd expect in a...More

We loved Big Wave. From generous and delicious salads to tasty Veggie Burgers with scrumptious Sweet Potato Fries to fabulous fish tacos, Big Wave's menu hit every spot at the table. We would definitely stop again at this convenient and attractive Manzanita Cafe.

Lovely place: not fake coastal kitsch, but modern, clean, appropriate decor. Terrific food, and a friendly, not canned, sincerity in greeting us.

It rarely happens that what appears to be a roadside dinner is in fact a foodie destination. Best clam chowder and fried cod sandwich I have ever had, followed by great apple pie. Delicious, hearty, quality ingredients. Can’t wait to go back.

The calamari and clam chowder were both very good. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Yummy marionberry salad dressing.

I enjoyed fresh lightly breaded oysters and my guest had the most tender razor clams ever. Salads were fresh and french fries home made. They also offer steaks, burgers and homemade cakes and pies.

The food was really good, but it lacked a little. The Marionberry Pie was excellent. You have to go early because they close early. The wait staff was good and they were very friendly. The salmon wasn't the best. It seems to be the best...More
