Best food! We were told 'it's where all the locals go' and we weren't surprised after sampling the crab cakes, corn chowder, salads with a big choice of dressing, sauteed fish... Fast service, friendly servers, and the chef does the rounds of the tables for a lil' chit chat. Well worth a visit, and don't forget the truly smooth Oregon... More

Salmon and spinach omelet was terrific. Great coffee, good service. Anyone can have a great breakfast at the Wave! PS, sourdough toast was killer, I suspect the French Toast might be very good.

We came here for breakfast each day during our stay exploring the Oregon coast. It was family friendly. Great ambience and price was reasonable. We would go there again.

We stopped here for our brunch on our way down the coast and had one of the best brunches ever. The waitstaff were very laid-back, but polite & friendly, and the food arrived faster than we expected considering how freshly made it is. Love the coffee, too. We'll definitely be back.

We were driving down the Oregon coast, and wanted to choose a different place for dinner. I read the Trip Advisor reviews, and so we stopped at Big Wave Cafe. What a treat! All the fish is fresh and local. I had tuna caught that day by the owner, prepared as a teriyaki. Superb! My husband loves steamer clams, and... More

Very nice place. The crab cakes were divine! It was worth coming just for that. The other entrees were good too, but the crab cakes are definitely the star attraction.

My wife and I were there mid-week late in May 2016. I had the crab cakes and they were excellent. My wife had the cod and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had a seafood soup that I thought was well balanced. When we were there, the seafood selection was limited mid-week but would have been more robust towards the weekend.... More

It's seafood themed, with great omelets and good coffee. The place is neater than the typical backcountry dining facility. Service was friendly and prompt.

Family reunion to celebrate matriarch's birthday brought family from across the country. This restaurant made all 9 of these diners very happy. By all means, go!
