Lakeview is a small town in south eastern Oregon. What a great little restaurant. While having dinner, the power went out. The staff didnt miss a beat. They brought out at least 50 candles, made sure we could see our wonderful food, and kept the drinks coming. after about 40 minutes the power came back on. We all were kind... More

This place is a hidden gem! The white linens and napkins are unexpected in a small town like this! The food was amazing! We ate there several nights in a row and our food was perfect every time! My husband was so impressed with his steaks. They were done just how he ordered them. I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and... More

Reservations are recommended even during the week. Conveniently located within walking distance of all the motels in Lakeview, right on the main street. The atmosphere is really relaxing and never rushed. The food quality is excellent. The prime rib and filet mignon steak were cooked to perfection and the accompaniments very generous. Unless you're a big eater I'd suggest you... More

Wine list was surprising: They had a good selection. Skip the margaritas: they are awful and taste like TheraFlu. Mario's 6 oz. filet is delicious and was cooked to perfection!

My husband and I found this and will return everytime we are in town as long as it is open. The service and food is amazing. Prime rib, filet mignon , chicken , prawns. Etc. if you are looking for a nice dinner out. This is the place.

We were happy to find them open. The food was good, but a small selection. Be prepared to spend at least $20 per person. Salads were $18! Staff was friendly and attentative.

This restaurant makes the best empanadas and they are priced right. Make sure and spring for some black beans and rice as well as some fried plantains to round out the meal. It's a cozy little spot that gives you the sense of stepping right into Cuba. The flavors are authentic and the service was wonderful.

I had the salmon special in my wife had natural local beef with mushrooms.. Both meals were tasty the waitress was considerate of our gluten-free status and we're sure to not put croutons on our salad even though we had forgot to mention it and recommended the spicy hot wings which were amazing.

What's inside is worth going to investigate. Opening the door you can smell the steaks cooking. Yum! Of course we both ordered steaks, I had the special 8 ounces of tender delicious beef, smothered in mushrooms. Hubby the 10oz Cattle mans which melted in your mouth, and the tomato cream soup was thick and rich. The wait staff was amazing,... More

Mario's is Lakeview's premier steakhouse. No one does steak like Mario's. They also feature prime rib and other entrees. All meals come with potato, salad or soup, and roll. They have excellent desserts too. Prices are 20.00+ per entree. My husband and I consider this our go-to for special occasions.
