The dining room was deafening & we quickly got tired of leaning & yelling to converse. But the server & hostess were very gracious and re-seated us on the outdoor deck where we had a most enjoyable dinner with a view of Oswego Lake. We would definitely go again but ask in advance about outdoor seating.

You don't often see Sturgeon on the menu, even here in the Pacific Northwest. It was very good. The restaurant's interior is nice and the service just fine.

What a wonderful way to spend a great time dining on the outside deck of a fabulous restaurant. Beautiful views, great service, wonderful food and wait staff that pays attention to customers.

Two friends brought me here for my birthday. I'd been once before and had appetizers which I thought were good, if a bit spendy. On this visit, the food was mediocre at best and the service was terrible. It seemed like the staff was way more into socializing than taking care of the few guests who were there. I had... More

Nice place, upstairs, always an excellent rotating wine selection.. Don't know why they still call it 5 Spice, it used to be Asian fusion a long time ago...now Seafood, modern fare...nicely presented.

I've been treated to dinner here twice by generous friends who live nearby and appreciate its outstanding dining, including a classy setting, excellent service and dishes you wouldn't find elsewhere, all beautifully prepared. It's an experience you want to share and would also be an one to impress business associates. Our latest dinner here was a birthday celebration, and party... More

We joined several friends for "happy hour" and continued by enjoying several small plate appetizers. Among several were crab cakes, fried squid, coconut shrimp and a trio of tartares. All were excellently prepared and nicely presented. Accompanying libations range from draft beer, assorted varietals of wine, and specialty cocktails - mostly creative martinis. After all that we indulged in desserts... More

We had two good dinners and each time was very satisfying. Great food and service and we will continue to take family and friends there. The only suggestion that would make this even better is to have more daily specials to make this a continuous pleasure for us

Other reviewers have pointed out the quality of the location, ambiance, food and service but there is something missing, something that stops Five Spice being a must-visit, top-notch restaurant. It might be the open kitchen, which certainly does not appeal to me; it might be the too-close tables; it might be the silly tablet wine list. While we all thoroughly... More

While visiting lake Oswego from Los Angeles we had dinner at five spices. We sat on the patio overlooking the lake and the ambiance was great the food was very good, well prepared but a little pricey. The $25 corkage fee was a little much but all in all we enjoyed our anniversary dinner. If you don't mind an expensive... More
