If you're hoping for a leisurely dinner on their deck . . . be prepared to be told 'your time is up!'
We were there for a birthday celebration. One hour and twenty-five minutes in, our waitperson came to the table to tell us that another party would be needing the table in five minutes! We had just finished eating, had half a bottle of wine left, and hadn't begun to think about dessert.
We were shocked by this treatment. In all our years of eating out, and eating here, we had never experienced anything like this.
We were told they had an hour and a half limit on the deck.
My partner went and spoke to the manager about this and were offered a table inside and free dessert.

2 years later I came back to this restaurant. The food quality retained the same quality. Ordered the diver scallops, steamed mussel pot with coconut and spicy sauce, ribs, cocktails prawn, fried five spice squid 🦑 but ran out on the usual Northwest oysters … disappointing. Great wine selection and wine. Enjoy the good evening with friendly services!

Asked for a Lake Oswego lunch recommendation and this was it! Great table outdoors, very nice service and terrific lunch choices. We shared coconut shrimp and spring rolls for starters and then four different entrees - the Nicoise salad was just right and all of the portions were more than generous. Still, we managed to order the delightful crème brûlée on top of it all. A very happy lunch.

I was surprised to see this restaurant has a Certificate of Excellence. I guess we were just unlucky last night.
Our family chose this restaurant for a birthday celebration. When making the reservation, we insisted we needed outdoor dining due to COVID concerns. Apparently they did not read the notes, and when we arrived for our reservation, no outdoor tables were available. They told us they would give us the next available table, but apparently gave this away - twice. Long story short, we decided to try to find a different place after an hour of waiting. Other restaurants in the area were closed by this time.. Our special birthday celebration happened at a pizza place, late at night.
What was most irritating was the lack of apology or concern.

I just called to make a reservation and the hostess who answered was uninterested, un helpful and discouraged the reservation by her attitude. This for a supposed 5* restaurant turned me off completely from making the reservation. I didn't want the same experience to continue if we did come there.

Despite all the new and challenging times we are facing, Five Spice was amazing. Gabby, the host, was the most accommodating and sweet person. She really was so patient and explained all the new rules to our family. She was a great person to talk too, and I appreciated all her help. We got sat very quickly in the beautiful lounge area ( with very comfy couches). I ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer, and it was perfection! For dinner, I had the Spicy Seafood Stew, which I would recommend. It was cooked perfectly and was filling. Our server, (the guy with the beard) was so patient with us, and was very knowledgeable, I could tell he was passionate about his job. Overall, I am so glad I picked Five Spice as my first dinner out of lockdown. The service here is unmatched, as well as the food. Go here, and leave with a smile!

We dine out about twice a month in the Portland area and I have to say this is one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We were two couples and all four of us raved about our dishes. Our server was very friendly, professional, and attentive. Thanks for a great meal!

We had the scallops with mashed potatoes snd coconut shrimp as an appetizer. Mai Tai and Margarita drinks. The complimentary bread so good. Excellent service! Food is out of this world. Highly recommend with fabulous atmosphere of Lake Osweago.

Meeting with family to talk about home care for their loved one. Great layout with the large round table - offered intimate setting for all. Food was fantastic - Salmon perfectly cooking. Service attentive and friendly

we recently met friends at Five Spice for happy hour. Really nice cocktails, and the food was well presented. Great service. We have had dinner there previously, and it was great, too, though a bit on the spendy side.

This is our go to place. We’ve enjoyed all servings. We’ve eaten the lunch, happy hour, and dinner with great selections. I’d list the items we’ve had but it would be to long. I’d recommend happy hour to try many of the items.

We were delighted to find Five Spices for lunch last week. Everything from the presentation of the appetizers to our lunch was excellent. This was their soft opening, hoping they do well. We look forward to going back on our next visit to Nevis!

We went here for a family dinner as we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather while we ate. We were seated promptly, but waited 20 minutes for someone to finally come to our table to greet us and bring us water. After ordering our food and drinks, we again sat for an eternity with empty glasses, with nobody returning to our table until the food was finally brought out. The asparagus on the menu was advertised as "spears", but were flimsy spaghetti sized over cooked limp garbage. The portion sizes were miniscule, and the fish tasted freezer burned. Our server failed to return to the table after the food was brought out. We will never bother going back.

The food and view here were nice, but the staff wasn’t very friendly. It seemed they were just there to do a job. It is right on the lake so the view is nice and the food is pretty good

Our investment advisor invited us to lunch here. It looks directly on to Lake Oswego. A wonderful menu of upscale presentations and reasonable prices for the area. Service was prompt and friendly.
