We were excited for happy hour; arrived a little after 5 pm and sat in the bar area. Not greeted by waitress for about 15 minutes but took into consideration that restaurant staff is low due to COVID. The bartender came up to us (her...mask was below her nose during the whole evening -- gross!!!) and kept asking us if we were ready to order but walked away as she was asking us the question. It was very odd! Food came out fast but surprisingly was COLD. My husband ordered off the happy hour menu and I ordered off the main menu. (baby back ribs). Don't bother ordering. The top b-b-q sauce was warm, but the meat was cold. The bartender never came back to check on us and by that time -- I was just ready to get out of there. Another note - I observed the bartender was rude to the other waitress waiting for drinks. She constantly slammed items around. Just was not pleasant. If she is that unhappy - why is she working in customer service. Anyways, truly disappointed as I have always loved Stanfords. We will never return!!!!!More

Been going there since it opened. Never again! Meal a few days ago of fish and chips were totally all batter and greasy. My friend had BLT that was all thick bread, lotsa mayo and mostly lettuce. Bacon was greasy. Three people besides us in...the bar on a Friday at noon and we still waited a long time to be served.More

I would rate it a 0 if possible. First we called to make a reservation at 6:45 pm. The hostess said they were running a bit behind but we could wait in the bar . So we got a drink and at 7:15 after checking...twice we asked again when our table would be ready. Then the hostess said Oh, we didn’t know you were ready to eat? So she escorted us to a completely empty section of the restaurant and shortly after Abigail introduced herself as our server. We had already had drinks and were ready to order. She placed our order and we both asked for water and one glass of wine. My husband got his water finally after asking twice and I said I asked for water as well. Oh she said but never brought it. I finally got up and served myself in my empty cocktail glass from a pitcher that was at a station 4 feet away. When bringing our meals a male server brought the wrong meal so he had to go back and get my order. My soup came with my meal not before as ordered. I had to ask for a to go box and the check as we were long ready to leave. The food was very good. My husband had ribs and I had salmon but the poor service made for a very unenjoyable evening out. We are Landry Select club members and this is the worst of the worst for service that we have been to of their restaurants. We are local and eat out often but will not return or recommend this location . They really do not have their act together.More

Threw up later. We stayed near, walked up. Vern ordered the 1/2 rack ribs, which he enjoyed. He did not like the slaw. My fish and chips were greasy, both fish and chips. I ate the fish alone stripped of batter, not enough to save...my stomach.More

Had dinner here with wife and son. Sat outside on the patio. It started to rain and our server came out and added an additional umbrella to help keep us dry. Had the fish and chips. Fish was good but too much breading for my...liking. Had a side salad that was very tasty, with bacon bits. Wife enjoyed her chicken and our son said the French dip was good. Not a bad meal, all in all.More

Last week my husband and were visiting someone in Wilsonville. We decided to get a to-go dinner at Stanford’s. We were greeted by Mr. Scott. He invited us to sit on the patio and have a cocktail while we waited for our order. Speaking with...Mr. Scott was absolutely delightful. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and an absolutely delicious dinner!More

This is a traditional restaurant that provides warm ambiance, friendly and professional service, and above all, food that you really enjoy. All together you find yourself in an atmosphere away from the cares and worries of the outside world.

We have never had a bad food experience at Stanford's, always top notch service and staff. The cajun fettuccine is delicious and the fish and chips were a little crispy but good. The fries were excellent and good ice tea. Wonderful atmosphere and music from...the 50s. And the parking lot was good.More

We split the halibut for dinner and it was excellent. It was served on a bed of mushrooms with a special sauce that was very tasty. We added a salad to our meal and the quantity was very adequate. The entre comes highly rated in...our tastes. While the main dining area was full due to Christmas Eve reservations, we were able to sit in a booth in the bar area with no problems. The service was fast as well.More

Very comfortable place for family, friends and couples. The food is very tasty and of high quality. I was there several times last year and a couple of times this year as part of a business trip. Hand cut rib eye steak, a fish dish,...as well as hamburgers - everything is very tasty and of high quality.More
