You are driving along Boones Ferry road and you come to the intersection with Reese and there is a smallish red shack with a barbecue outside. What is it? It's a hidden gem, a Costa Rican smoked chicken and rice and taco and other Latin foods place. If you are looking for a great inexpensive lunch or dinner do not... More

Always fresh and delicious. Just came back from Costa Rica, and found the food there to be so much like this restaurant. The food is light and nutritious too. The place is small, and quite busy at lunch time. So we either do take out, or come a little after the lunch rush.

A wonderful little family owned restaurant that serves up generous portions of authentic Costa Rican meals. This is one of my favorite lunch destinations, as the service is friendly, the food is exceptional, and there's bound to be a soccer game on the tv. Try all the different sauces. The green sauce is a favorite. This is a tiny building,... More

Excellent family owned and run Costa Rican restaurant. Very small and limited parking but worth making the trip! Tacos and burritos with amazing grilled flavors and their sauces/salsa area excellent! Try them all. You can take out if there isn't seating but a must try for sure!!

Make sure you get all the sauces. It completes the tacos. We each had a trio of tacos. Very nice meal.

The gallo pinto with their wonderful cilantro sauce . . . divine! Try this wonderful little red shed, owned and operated by a friendly Costa Rican family. I've noticed lots of other customers devour the smoked chicken. I order the gallo pinto every single time I visit, though. I wish I had some right now. Yum yum yum!

The owner opened up early to serve my wife and I, the food was great, very small owner operated spot. We had the breakfast burritos. We regularly go here now for a quick bite.

We were actually walking to have lunch at another restaurant when the smell of smoked chicken drew us to Casa del Pollo. And the food was every bit as good as we hoped. It's a small place and well worth a visit. I had the smoked chicken burrito which was large but wasn't heavy. I recommend the delicious spicy red... More
