My wife and I had dinner on a Saturday evening. This is a steak place but neither of us was in the mood for steak. I had the Garcia Burrito and my wife had the Salmon dinner. The Burrito was very tasty and a huge...portion. I got through about half of it. The filling of the burrito was great but I felt that the chili that was smothered over it was a little too much. Maybe half the chili portion would have been fine. My wife’s salmon came with a salad that was great. Her salmon was a bit bland but the sauce was good. For the price the food was excellent. Next time I’m having a steak.More
Our meal was great, steaks cooked perfectly, big baked potato, simple salad, but the dinner rolls were hard as rocks.
What really redeemed, it was the caramel apple pie, oh my goodness I would have loved to had three of them to take home.
Service...was good, interesting decor, but by the time we left my feet were blocks of ice.
Think, it was because we were in the bar area, felt quite a draft.
Not bad for a small town and everyone we asked said to go there.
Do make reservations...
Excellent steaks (especially the tenderloin), salad and sides. Salad was served family style and yet to order. Steaks cooked perfectly over wide range of preferences. Service was prompt and just right. Prices are as cheap as anywhere in Oregon - and few places in the...world would charge less. this is a place worth a drive and there aren't any more more of those in Eastern Oregon.More
Staff was friendly & helpful, even at the busy eclipse viewing time. Food was great--I had a taco salad which was tasty & plentiful. Hubby had a baked potato with a creamy chicken topping which he said was one of the best things he'd ever...eaten (and we've eaten in SF and all over Europe). Can't say enough good things about the Snaffle Bit!More
