Wonderful dinner for four of us!

Had a beautiful evening with a delicious meal (I had seared scallops that were perfect). The salads were just right, the wine selection is amazing. We also had crab cake appetizers that tastes like you were at the beach.

For my birthday my friends took me to the Jacksonville Inn. This is a birthday I will never forget due to the great food and exceptional service. The food is the best I have ever had and we had a delightful young lady named Jori as our server. Jori not only met our needs but she went the "extra mile"... More

There is an old time elegance to the atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the food is excellent.

We ate dinner here twice on a long weekend of winter wine touring in the Southern Oregon area. Jacksonville Inn gets a good rating from us based on the excellent service, ambiance, availability and variety on the menu. There are some things this restaurant does very well: salads and pastas. Some items are not worth ordering. The bruchetta appetizer, for... More

Love the effort they put into the ambiance. I had a delicious New York York steak medium rare. Our server Michelle was exceptional. Our Water was always filled often by anyone around. Excited for breakfast tomorrow. Sadly did not have room for dessert, I devoured my steak and trust me ....I can make room for dessert usually. It was a... More

jacksonville inn has always been one of the special restaurants in southern oregon. our last vist was ok. the food was good, the ambience was as usual (which is another subject) but in my opinion the price was exorbitant.

Dinner prices at the Jacksonville Inn range from $15.00 to $37.95. Most lunch entrees range from $12.00 to $16.00. The quality of our business and reputation is such that we have served three U.S. Presidents. We have out-of-town guests say they are surprised that we can serve what we do given what we charge. With the ever-escalating food costs, Oregon’s... More

This is one of the nicer places in the Rogue Valley for dinner. We enjoy the more relaxed Bistro behind the bar in the basement. Go early because there is usually a waiting list.

I don't know if they are living on reputation, but our one off Sunday night special meal was not. The upstairs, very romantic late 19th century dining room visible from the street was not open, great marketing. The dark, same period bordello motif basement was, so we opted for the outdoor patio which seemed like a great idea. The service... More

The policy at the Jacksonville Inn is "the answer is yes; we just need to know the question." Had the guest asked to be seated upstairs, we would have gladly obliged the request. Having operated the Jacksonville Inn for 40 years, we know where the majority of the guests want to be seated. The vast majority of the lunch and... More

My wife and I stopped in for Sunday Brunch today. As usual, everything was perfect! From the Prime Rib Hash to the Santa Fe Chicken Salad to the server, all was excellent! Not to mention the fact that the salad is not on the Brunch menu, but our excellent server, Micah, checked with the kitchen, and as normal they said... More

We were looking forward to a lovely breakfast on New Year's Day at this Inn and the service was so bad we wound up leaving before even getting any food. Waited forever and finally my husband got a half cup of coffee. I asked 3 times for tea which NEVER arrived along with the food which also NEVER arrived. We... More

New Year’s breakfast at the Jacksonville Inn was indeed a challenge for us. Two of the three servers called in sick that morning. We had two choices: insist that they come in (which, obviously, would be a bad decision); or proceed with a smaller-than- ideal staff. I chose the latter. I tried to call in additional staff, starting at 6:30... More
