While the wine list wasn't extensive it was very well chosen. Lots of local wines but more than that. All the winds were a very high quality and the prices were not much above retail if at all. Several choices by the glass as well. We shared an ahi tartare on a bed of seaweed. Delicious. Next up was their... More

We went to Deja Vu because we assumed a bistro/ wine style resturant and being in Jacksonville it would be fancier, more elegant and nice. The servers were dressed more like going to a burger drive-in joint and the ambiance was not what we thought it would be. For the prices you pay and the few days they are open... More

Always a favorite, especially the Grilled Romaine salad. Went for a celebration dinner with family. Everyone found something to their taste until we got to dessert. Thai Peanut Gelato,,,,really? We weren't part of the "get to the Britt" crowd and found ourselves alone on the patio in perfect weather. Certainly lost the attention of our waiter then - he started... More

The indoor dining room is a bit tired, but the terrace is lovely and so is the bar. Gracious staff, quiet atmosphere, and delicious dates wrapped in prosciutto!

We just wanted to try the "Appy hour" but we had a kid with us and weren't sure if that would be acceptable in the wine bar. We had the calamari and it was really good and lightly breaded. The roasted romaine needed a little more time on the grill but was overall tasty. The service was just OK. Took... More

Small and intimate bar area with a good list of wines and appetizers. We recommend the tomato, basil and mozzarella tower, crab cakes and grilled romaine along with a glass or two of wine. Friendly and casual environment.

This restaurant used to be great but something went wrong. We went with family for a special dinner and everyone was very disappointed. The pot pie had no gravy and only the taste of sage. The short ribs were terrible and the chicken not great. The service was slow and the dinner was cold but the price was high. I... More

Well-groomed, mature waiters give you space and respect. The decor is understated and pleasant. The Ahi tartar exquisite and the Salmon perfectly grilled, complementing the light, tender Jasmine rice. The courses were perfectly spaced and our food came out hot and succulent. Would recommend Deja Vu to anyone who likes to focus on good company, wonderful cuisine and meaningful conversation!

We stopped in for dinner and I ordered the chicken, it was dry and tough and nothing special flavor-wise. My wife had the scallops, she really enjoyed them. Service was good but the waiter had very bad breath and it was not pleasant when he stood by the table talking. Two salads, two entrees, two glasses of wine and two... More
