We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Maid dishers are great and the sides are to die for. Beer is very good too but the brussel sprouts with bacon are the best I have had anywhere.

Delicious, satisfying vegetarian options at a German restaurant! Salmon chowder and chicken pate plate scrumptious. Reuben apparently superb! Of course beers a plenty. Even root beer. Try to walk past the cake cabinet. Impossible. German chocolate cake memorable. Friendly, helpful waitperson. Ambience.

This was our first visit to this unique restaurant. We were a large group and were seated more-or-less together. Very good menu selections as were their Specials. The food was delicious and their beer selection was quite good too. No complaints about the service whatsoever....More

My husband and I visited this restaurant in the dead of winter, and it was very cozy and comfortable, especially by the fire. The staff was very attentive and friendly, exceeding our expectations. The food and wine/beer selection was good as well.

Had dinner here with my wife and 6 family members. The food was outstanding, as was the setting and the service. They have great beer that pairs well with the German food. And we went on game night and had a blast!

They don't have online reservations, at least during the winter season. I think you will have to call during regular business hours. Enjoy ur visit to Jacksonville.
