And never knew it was there!! (I guess it has been there since the 50s). Was very good. A whole in the wall. Great food!!!! While we were there, several regulars came in....that speaks volume!. The staff was so friendly as well.

We decided to pay a short passing visit to Jacksonville and have breakfast to begin our day. I found the Mustard Seed Cafe and I have to tell you, it's the best breakfast I've ever had and I live in San Francisco where we're foodies. First of all, you may wonder, how can you make an excellent breakfast? Good question!... More

Best breakfast and service around. Nice patio. Cozy inside. Lunch is good too. Wish they were open seven days a week.

This is "my place" when I visit. Just nice folks with tasty food. The price is right and I cannot start a day without their breakfast sandwich ($5). I can't figure out why it is sooooo much better than any other sandwich I've had, just know I love it (I choose ham). Very sad news is that they close Mon-Tue... More

This is a friendly restaurant with local flavor. The wait staff are super nice. The food and coffee are just perfect. No complaints except that they close on Monday.

This restaurant was loud, crowded and dirty. The food was terrible. My husband's breakfast was greasy and flavorless. I had a bowl of fruit that was tiny and was charged $3.00 which seemed outrageous. While we were there, the Sysco semi-truck was unloading the food. Don't expect anything locally grown or harvested here. Even the hash browns were from a... More

Nice little outside seating area. Good breakfast. Coffee was hot and our server was friendly and efficient. The price was reasonable.

Friendly service and a nice selection of basic meals. Not fast, not fancy but just the right feel for a little cafe in a small town. I would not change a thing. Even though I would prefer a fancy coffee, it would not have felt right. I would happily go there again!

Even though I have eating here before cause the food was delicious, I was surprised what poor service I received when I tried to order for take out. The woman stated "can you hold for a second" naturally I said "sure". She never came back to the phone. I could hear her talking in the background having everyday conversation with... More

Friendly service and great selection of items to suit every taste and appetite. The homemade cinnamon rolls are a must have for the table to share. It gets very crowded but everybody is pleasant. Sign on the chalkboard says "be nice or leave"
