Ordered a pizza to go and miraculously it was ready in 2 minutes, either a magic wand or they were remade totally. Asked for carmelized onions and said it couldn’t be put on the pizza so on the side. Got to the hotel 2 minutes...later and pizza was cold and carmelized onions were never heated or fresh. What a joke.More

We were craving a good pizza and this was it. Had the Hot Momma pizza with pepperoni, pepperoncini, peppadew peppers.

We were in Hood River on a Saturday night (9/12) and with nowhere to go, we needed to order dinner. We chose pizza at Solstice. You order online and pay online with a credit card. We ordered a small 11 inch carnivore for $16. It...gave a time for pick up which was about 35 minutes after ordering. Showed up at the pick up door about 5 minutes early so I had to wait outside a few minutes to wait for the pizza. We brought the pizza back to our room at the Hampton Inn Hood River. The meats were a bit on the salty side but the crust was good. We wished we ordered the Margherita instead.More

Very disappointed and angry after being harassed and threatened by the restaurant employees because we were at our table for over the allotted one-hour time limit. We had to wait for a table to become available and while being seated were told there is a...one-hour time limit. We started our lunch by ordering a couple drinks. We then ordered an entrée salad to split followed by two small pizzas to share and have some to take home. All good. After we were done with the pizza the waitress enticed us into ordering the special fruit cobbler dessert and I ordered another beer. It took awhile for the cobbler to be served because it had to be heated and the beer never got delivered until then. The $90 bill was paid while the last bites of the dessert were being finished. When the waitress picked up the bill we were told we needed to leave because the one-hour limit had expired. She explained this in a very bossy manner immediately putting us on defense and replied by telling her we’ll finish our drinks then leave. Moments later a male employee came out and with a very bossy attitude repeated the one-hour time limit order along with some other words. I replied back by thanking him and I’ll finish my drink then leave multiple times. He left and then the hostess came to our table and threatened TO CALL THE POLICE if we didn’t leave. I really had a hard time processing this series of events, with the harassment and threats. I’m not a slow drinker. I would have finished my beer in minutes and left, but the restaurant had put us through all this drama and seriously upsetting our day.More

The chicken sandwich and salads we ordered to go were delicious, but the guy who took our order got huffy with us when we had trouble figuring out the green and yellow tape arrows they were using for social-distancing signing while we waited. Would have...gone back otherwise.More

Our Take Out Pizza and Beet Salad, when we arrived back to our camper across the River was still warm and very good. Take out pizza is a tough food choice. This was certainly better than our last weeks try at Double Mountain, but like...that place they have not mastered any sort of efficiency. The only reason we were able to immediately receive our online order was that no one else was in the one line for orders and pick ups. Not sure that I’d order another pizza from them during the pandemic, but our local organic crimini mushroom and impossible sausage one was quite tasty. The beet salad was excellent. It was simply too hot tonight to eat on their outdoor patio so back across the River to our Airstream air conditioning & comfort!More

We were traveling through when my wife decided that she wanted pizza. Not wanting a standard Dom or Hut, we were really happy to find a well rated local place. Nice topping selection. We are 99% Vegan and love a bit more out of the...ordinary (relax and unclench your jaw, bro! We aren't the preach hippie type). Great crust, great sauce, great toppings. but only 1 issue: they missed the "sausage" that we really (she REALLY) wanted to try.I had to hear about that a few times. Pizza reheated really well the next day. But then I got to hear about the missing "sausage" again. Anyway, life goes on. If we are back in the area, we will definitely go back (and this time, check for the "sausage").She finally stopped talking about it so, 5 stars for you. The rest was just that good.More

Seating capacity is reduced under latest COVID-19 guidelines, so get into line early for the noon opening. Pets are no longer permitted in the canvas covered patio, but we snagged one of the picnic tables near the takeout window. (We had five adults, one baby,...and two dogs in our party.) As usual, the pizzas were excellent, including the gluten free version ordered by my son.More

Amazing pizza, spectacular Gluten Free choices, and tasty cocktails. We always detour the hour to Hood River when we're passing through Portland!

We stopped for dinner, and decided on three appetizers to share instead of pizza. Gnocchi, brussels sprouts and roasted cauliflower. Sadly, none of these were made to order; they were reheated and not very well. The gnocchi was rubbery and had the consistency of a...pencil eraser. I wonder if it wasn't cooked in boiling before they pan fried it earlier in the week. The portion size of gnocchi for the price was terrible. The brussels sprouts must have been from the bottom of the pan; they were gloppy with a sugary sauce and most of the brussels sprouts had fallen apart into leaves. The cauliflower was similar; no "roasted" nature to the vegetable and the sauce overpowering. The wait staff didn't really acknowledge any of the guests, and although it was early and not busy, they were more interested in talking to each other than helping folks out. I ordered a bloody mary, and it was overpoweringly salty and not really great. The mix was so thick, the garnishes very tired, just not a great drink. Although we have enjoyed the pizza in the past, inattentive service ruins it for me. We likely won't be back.More
